The Ultimate Question!

Never before has such a question been asked to spur such world-wide debate and argument.
It has caused people I know to get avoid certain restaurants. This question is the real reason that nations of the world cannot get along.
So, without further ado, here it is, the ultimate question.
Pepsi or Coke?

Neither. Both are symbols of Western capitalist decadence.

Actually it has. Several times on this forum alone in fact.
My pick is Coke.
The only pepsi-affiliated product that's truly great is Dr Pepper.
Other than that, Coke>Pepsi, Sprite>7up, Barqs>Mug et c.

Anyway, wasn't there a Pepsi Challenge in the 1980s? And in a double-blind taste test, most Americans picked Pepsi?

There was. But out of what can only be described as 'loyalty' consumbers still bought Coke more often than Pepsi. (My vote goes to Coke.)

EDIT2: Oh further irony in mentioning "ironic twist"

Didn't pepsi also add sugar to their product?
Coke mixes better with booze. Other than that, I don't care.

A fictional drink in a MMORPG. Until the developers signed a bizarre contract with a soft drink company.
I've tasted it, it's a syupy lemonade with the colour of urine and the smell of carrots. And it's real.

Sounds odd.
I actually do drink a fair bit of Irn-Bru. Unfortunately because I live in the US, it works out to be about $4.50 a can because of shipping. (And there was that time before the internet, when my "supplier" in New York went out of business, and I ended driving 1900 miles to Orlando to stock up).
Then there was the period when it was banned by the FDA for a bit.
Ah, good times.

I would say Pepsi without even thinking, but I am drinking Coke right now...I went through a Pepsi-only kick a while back, but I drink either Pepsi or Coke...way too much of them, really.

That is the most mis-leading question ever!!! But since I'm already on-line, I'll probably say Pepsi. Pepsi Max especially.

Pepsi is too sugary for my taste, so I'll say coke, though I usually drink diet coke (or coke light as it's known here). Especially the kind with lemon. Mmmm...
Vanilla coke is concentrated evil, btw.

I know I choose my wine depending on what I'm going to eat but between cola drinks? heh.
I'm not a big fan of cola products. I buy the cheapest Finnish brand there is. They are always cheaper than Coke or Pepsi (which are, of course, also made in Finland. I don't know if there are any differences between an American Pepsi and a Finnish Pepsi.)

Hmm, thought I voted in this yesterday. I guess it didn't accept my vote.
Coke of the two.
But I rarely drink dark colas.
I prefer Sprite, Sierra Mist or 7-Up for sodas.

A fun game with the pepsi / coke restaurant.
Ask for a coke. When the server says "is pepsi alright?" in that whinny little way they do....
Say no.
They're not programmed for it and will often just explode in confusion.
And I don't drink either them both being full of foul chemicals.

Me either. It destroys your teeth and makes you fat, too. Lately, the only thing I drink is bottled water. I used to drink 2 cups of tea a day, and maybe a small cup of coffee as well, but I'm in the process of whitening my teeth and can't have either of those right now - so it's just bottled water for me at the moment. But it's been years since I drank sodas of any sort. Hubby, on the other hand, probably goes through nearly a 6-pack a day of Diet Pepsi, and leaves the empty or half-empty cans all over the house for me to dispose of...grrrrrrr...

Well, where I work they found rocket fuel in the water supply, and where I used to live up until a year ago, they discovered dry cleaning solvent in the ground water. Around the same time I started working where I am working now (or within a year, anyway), I had developed some, um, let's just say, digestive difficulties. After several years of trying one thing after another, I finally decided to switch to bottled water (especially after I found out about the dry cleaning solvent, which was blamed for causing several cancers in my town). I actually started getting much better within a few months of switching. Even though I'm on well water where I live now, I won't ever go back to drinking tap water again (I'm at work 12 hours a day, where the water is still a problem, and at home, we have a water softener, which makes the water a bit salty-tasting).
