Language warning: If you're easily offended by cussing, you won't want to read this.

For those who don't care, here is the url of the story.

This is about a wannabe hacker that winds up hacking a computer with an IP address of 127.0.0.1 (anyone who knows even the basics of networking will know what that means) :D

This is why n00b has the double-zero spelling. Plain old newb can never be enough.

We can always hope that the 'hacker' qualifies for a Darwin award before too long?

Incidently, for those who may not know...
127.0.0.1 is a special, reserved IP address that a computer using TCP/IP uses to communicate with itself, so anytime a computer communicates with 127.0.0.1, it is in effect communicating with itself, any kind of a "hacker" should know and recognize this address immediately!

This tends to be the first thing you have to teach your firewall.

This guy obviously never set one up. That, or used some pre-set template with all the deterrent powers of a trained attack gerbil.

Hey! My gerbil'll take you on! I bought it from a guy off the street, said it was the best computer protection ever. *nods*

Gods, that guy was bloody stupid..one of the best things I've ever read.
