Well I'm highly featured on a website...does that count?

Do you?

Highly featured on a website?

Yeah, I do. I'm interested as to what proportion of NSers, and thus (very roughly) of Internet users have websites, etc.

I'd say a lot! A certain type of people are on Nationstates. I think if the moderator were to undertake (an enormous) survey. In certain areas people would come up similar

Why 3? Each for separate things?

I don't have a website, but I want one.

It would distribute freeware security tools for home users.

I have made a start on it, however, in keeping with a certain ethic, I'm only using free tools to create the website. This means I'm having difficulty figuring out how to use them.

Also, does anyone know how I can put this site on the web when it is finished? It should either be free or cheap (remember the ethic), and preferably without those annoying added bits in the URL i.e

www.yourwebsite.annoyingbit.com

Here are my two cents:

- Blogs: 4 (1 English)
- Website: 1
- Fora: 3 (I admin) and 40+ (I visit)

It can get pretty confusing from time to time.

I have 2 blogs of my own (one finished, one being worked on) and my design site (which is undergoing a redesign).

I'm also the CTO for 2 different organizations (one blog syndicate that is in the process of being built and a national security news/policy organization).

I've also built more websites than I can ever keep up with. :p

Has what?

It's because I haven't got any users that I don't know in real life yet. I could post a link here (anyone can sign up) but I'm worried NSers would start loads of political debates there :D

www.hlj.me.uk is my personal site, but i only use it to host junk for use here, and to back up files, nowadays.

i have a blog on msn spaces so i guess that doesn't count (started it out of sheer boredom)
i'm an admin on a small forum

and i have a company website, as well as some other sites i manage for money ;)

but i will shortly be hosting a site for the UDCP party micronation, and am thinking about a couple of commercial sites for the near future

edit: i don't get the deal with blogs... whats all the big fuss?

Well, apart from my four personal sites I created and maintain seven others for the place I work for.

It's partly exhibitionism, I guess. I try to stay more or less on a theme, though... when I have the time.

why does everyone always assume that if you're a communist you must denounce all worldly possessions or something wank like that :headbang:

I wasn't assuming anything like that, I was just responding to a capitalist-looking comment. I was only kidding around anyway, don't take it too seriously.

Probably for much the same reasons as most people think that Christians should be perfect. :D

Some are interesting, but not the ones that say stuff like "oh, I woke up today and then had a sandwich", or "I saw Betsy today, she's such a bitch."

I tend to read those that are in some interesting industry and offer comments and insight, or impressions from a professional conference or stuff like that. I've gotten some useful information from those.

Mine just tries to be wacky and, hopefully, entertaining.

As much as this game ROCKS, that game is still very worth looking into. Anyone here would love it!
