Who would you want to see play the character of Barbarella (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062711/) (given all the Hollywood remakes recently, I figure this one's a shoe-in)...

Arrggh! What a frustrating movie that was. A porno with all the sex scenes cut out. If they re-make it there can only be one choice. Jenna Jameson.

Jane Fonda of course. She's not dead yet. And remember, in space there is no sag.

LOL

My personal choice would be Carmen Electra - not because I'm much of a fan, but she seems to fit the "type" of the character perfectly...

Jennifer Garner easy.

After seeing her in Alias in only a corset, knickers and a whip. She is so damn sexy!!! :fluffle: drool!!!!!

I voted for actresses I don't neccisarily like, but would fit the role of Barberella.

I believe a remake was in the works not too long ago but was scutled.

There is flop, however.

I don't know. Looking at the numbers for her latest (http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=monsterinlaw.htm)-almost double the budget, pushing towards the magic 100k blockbuster mark. That kind of success gets you another film.

Er, I meant it in this context:

And remember, in space there is no sag.

My mind is in the gutter.

From the list...Electra and Pamela seem to fit the role quite well...though i have to agree with Jena Jameson aswell :p

I'd like to see Xenia Seeberg as Barbarella.

Yeah, it might just be better to bite the bullen and make it as a porno, in which case it'll be called Booberella (as if it isn't already made and doesn't have 13 sequels). But Jenna lacks the kittenish quality I might prefer in the role. So I nominate Elisha Cuthbert. Who wouldn't want to watch her in a porn movie.

I think it'd be interesting to see a modern re-interpretation of the movie, with more titillation, better SFX, more action...

Director: Tim Burton
Writer: Sam Raimi
-starring-
Barbarella: Carmen Electra
The Great Tyrant: Angelina Jolie
Captain Moon: Jennifer Garner

...:)

Considering I have no clue what Barbrella is, I'll go with the fat lady.

Who would that be?

P.S. Link about the movie in my original post - basically it's a late 60s T&A sci-fi spoof...
