Just a simple yes or no would suffice, but I added the obligatory third choice for those of you without a clue. :)

The third option should have something to do with Myrth though :D

I voted yes - the reasons for which are too numerous to mention

I wonder if anyone will actually vote no, without it just being for fun...hmm....

The world can never be dangerous. Nothing bad ever happens. These aren't the droids you're looking for.

Oh. In that case, I'm sorry I started this thread.

All of it at the same time? Highly unlikely, but it's possible. I vote yes.

Why do you ask?

Well, the world is destined to be incinerated and ejected into the cold dead depths of space after the sun goes nova one day....

Pretty dangerous for anyone on it by then.

Plus, there are volcanoes and comets and earthquakes and tsunami.

It's not dangerous for me, since I'm unvulnerable, but it must be awful dangerous for you puny humans. I can't decide which option to pick!

Yes. Sometimes life can abruptly become life-threatening. If you've you've ever witnessed a fatal acident or even just some dude having his 5th stroke in line up @ the theatre, you've seen how random it is when it comes.

Of course this is all a no-brainer. No could seriously defend a NO position on this. Unless they're between the ages of 12 and 18 or in a Mental Hospital

While I'm sure if I spent more time living in the real world I would believe it to be quite a dangerous place. However I am quite happy living in my own deluded worlds provided to me by my library card, bank account (that seems tied directly into a black hole known as "the book store"), and my vivid imagination. Between the three I can't find the time to deal with the real world as well.

A little bit of yes, a little bit of no. Depends on where you are and what you're doing at the time I suppose.

Am i the only one that thinks the "no" is a bit pointless... of course the world can be dangerous...

murder
drugs
kidnapping
abuse
fights
car accidents
plane crashes

How much more should i go on...?

The world is never dangerous for the following reasons:

1. God is good.
2. God has infinite power.

Since God is good and not evil, he would not want anything dangerous happen to us. Since he has infinite power, he would never allow anything dangerous to happen to us. Therefore, if you think anything dangerous has happened to you, you are mistaken. All things that people say are dangerous aren't, and to say they are is the same as saying God isn't good.

As that was likely a jab at me, I'll respond only with: my world is most unsafe while populated by those who believe the ends justify the means.

No, definitely not you. At least you can be a bit reasonable when you work at it. :D
