Here is an article from good ole aljazeera. I do read there site because of some times good stories. I actually agree with there story here. What do we do when we catch friendly nations spying? How would you handle it?

Israel arn't really threat so who cares?

I'd sever the defence aid the US gives them. If they're spying in return, that's pretty ungrateful.

Admonish said country. Charge the spy. It's pretty much certain that we do it to Britain and Britain does it to us. Unlikely should one of us catch the other that things will sour.

I actually think that the US and the UK work so closely together that spying really isnt needed.

Friendly nations often spy on each other for no other reason than to keep their mutual spy/counter-spy networks on their toes.

If, however a friendly nation extracts some super-secret stuff, then copies/uses it, and doesn't tell us about it, then said country treads thin ice and borders on "not friendly".
