I originally heard on a stand-up comedy routine by Bill Maher (you know, the dirty hollywood liberal evil hippie comedian) that we were crop dusting Colombia and other South American countries with poison. our intent is to kill the crops which produce illegal drugs. The result is that we end up actually killing legitimate farm crops and legitimate coca growers who have no intent of exporting to the US or something like that. whats really going on and is it justified?
true, i could go out and do research but i want to have a FOX or Crossfire style debate. (subtle humor)

Erm, not to be picky, but Bill Maher is neither conservative or liberal.

He's admittedly libertarian.

"Well, our theme today seems to be just how much the government should stick their nose in what we do, which is appropriate, because, David, you're one of our leading libertarians. I count myself as a libertarian, also."

This seems more depressing than funny.

Actually it seems to be about the government sticking their nose into what people stick into their nose.
