Evil is a concept and can not be fairly and objectively aportioned to anything, let alone a group of people.

You have been asked to stop creating threads like this... plase do so.

At this rate you will be deleted within the hour.
Also, if I am not mistaken, Frisbeetarianism is a mock religion created by George Carlin.

In all seriousness, the answer to your question is obviously: The British Government.

Hey, I don't think the UK has any more right to occupy North Ireland than Israel has in occupying Palestine, or Syria occupying Lebanon.

BUT it's not in your interest IRAOperatives to present your argument in such a crude way. There's many Brits on this forum, and you won't convince them in this way.
Who are you directing your posts to? Don't you think a carefully structured and presented argument would be more productive?

By the way, I don't think the IRA is bad, I believe they should be allowed to keep their weapons (just like Hezbollah, or Hamas which I don't see as a terrorist organisations), and I can't stand that priest with the huge shoulders, of whom I can't remember the name.

Are you serious? I don't know much about Hezbollah, but Hamas and IRA are terrorist organizations, freedom fighters or not. Especially Hamas.

I am. Hamas is a huge network of community organisations, buidling mosques, schools and so on. People donate to it and the money flows to different community projects. One of these projects is the end of the occupation.
I never said I agreed with their means, but seeing how the Israeli Military does its negotiations, I really don't make a difference based on whether a military group is nation-based or not. The problem is that in our media at least, Hamas is only ever mentioned in connection with attacks on Israeli Civilians.
And after all, today's Israeli army and police developed from a certain militia. If you searched the internet, I'm sure you could find some info on where that militia came from...you may be pleasently surprised.

The IRA is fairly similar in what it used to do. They've taken a more political course now, and I say: Good on them! They've proven that they are a force that cannot be ignored and now they can engage in meaningful talks. Giving up their weapons would simply mean the British Government could ignore them from thereon, for that is the only power the IRA has got.

try telling that to the families and friends of those innocents who were lost in Manchester, Birmingham and Brighton amongst other places

the IRA are terroists who killed innocent people and as for keeping their weapons, last time I checked my nations laws carrying weapons or owning an unlicensed weapon was illegal so why should they be exempt?
