can anyone tell me the effect world war two had on the world on general
please keep in mind this is for a history essay

downfall of the european imperial powers (britain & france), creation of israel, the division of the world into two allignments (western & soviet), founding of the u.n.
the list goes on, it was one of those events that affected a lot of stuff.

The effects of WW2 were vast. It changed everything.

*Western Europe became a region of social democracies, with liberal anti-racism as a staple government policy.
*Israel came into being.
*The USSR consolidated power over the countries it bordered, including eastern Europe and Mongolia.
*Japan became a liberal democracy and its empire was extinguished.
*The nations of the world organised into the UN out of a desire for a war on the scale of WW2 never to happen again.
*there are many more
