Post all baseball commentary/predictions here.

My predictions are
AL East: Orioles with BoSox in close 2nd
AL Central: Sox win, Twinkies with Wildcard
AL West: Angels (Rangers in close 2nd, but they fall due to the fact ROgers is their only truly reliable starter and that Soriano won't keep producing)

NL East: Marlins (pitching, pitching, pitching)
NL Central: Cards, no explanation necessary, oh yeah, Flubs finish 4th and Dusty gets fired
NL West: Dodgers, injuries slowed them the past month, but they are beginning to get players back from the DL. Padres get NL WC.

ALDS: White Sox vs. Orioles and Twinkies vs. Angels
ALCS: White Sox vs. Twins (AL Central battle! GO SOX!)
Sox win advance to 1st World Series since 1959's "Go GO Sox"

NLDS: Marlins vs. Dodgers and Cards vs. Padres
NLCS: Cards vs. Marlins
Cards win as once again they are best among NL

World Series: White Sox vs Cards
Sox win, Mulder never great after month of July, and the Sox have great pitching. El Duque is unbeatable in October and Freddy Garcia also is hard to beat in October. Buehrle and Garland are reliable starters and Contreras can be used for long relief in the series. Sox offense is steady, not explosive, but never slumping.

NOTE: In last year's prediction thread I predicted in May that it would be a BoSox vs. Marlins Series with the Red SOx winning. I predicted the winner last year. If you don't believe me I'll link to the thread.

Boy, are those Yankees ever justifying their bloated payroll... ;)

I feel very dirty. I was rooting for the Yankees over the weekend because they were playing the Twins. I must admit I love watching Steinbrenner's Yanks fall while my Sox, who's payroll is only 30% of Steinbrenners, post a nice 37-19 record.

AL East: Yankees (You don't think they'll slump forever, right?)
AL Central: White Sox (Though this winning streak will fizzle)
AL West: Rangers (Talk about the mild, mild west!)
AL WC: Red Sox (They'll slump towards the end, but they'll have enough to outlast the Twins)

NL East: Braves (They'll just keep winning divisions)
NL Central: Cardinals, of course
NL West: Dodgers (For lack of a better team)
NL WC: Cubs (Though Marlins and Nationals will compete for it)

ALDS: Yanks over White Sox - Red Sox over Rangers
ALCS: Yanks over Sox

NLDS: Braves over Dodgers - Cards over Cubs
NLCS: Cards over Braves

World Series: Yanks over Cards, though this'll be a hell of a series.
