In the meantime, I did a quick count, and found we had 21 MPs announced. I found the list of MPs for the PWW in another thread (please announce them to Parliament next time! :) ), and added them, and I'm assuming Moleland will be representing MOBRA (let me know if that's not the case!).

On a choice between Knootos and Deleuze (and no offense whatsoever to you Deleuze) I think our members would choose Knootos. So in order to speedily get this thing off the ground, I think you can assume Knootos.

Find a party to join (preferably one that you agree with) or found one. But check out the rules first

Then if they already have seats in the parliament you can lobby them for a seat, if not you campaign hard, win some seats next time around (about three months now) and then you may get to be an MP.

Quorum has been reached on the proposal for the right to a fair trial. It has now been brought before Parliament (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=428161) for debate.

Quorum has also been reached on the proposal banning any implementation of a death penalty (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=427658). This proposal will be queued until the above one has been debated and voted on. At which point I will submit a full text for debate by Parliament.

The Meritocratic Representative Republican Party, disatisfied with the performance of our current member of parliament, Zethistania, declare that we chose to replace Zethistania with Undelia as our second MP. We ask that Parliament recognize our decision, and invest Undelia with the rights and privileges of a member of parliament.

Esteemed colleagues, I would like to draw to your attention section 1, subsection 6 of the first proposal to have been passed by this Parliament, in view of the upcoming election.


6. Qualification of parties for the general election is to be seperately discussed and agreed during the term of the first parliament. It is to be established in time for parties to qualify for the next election.


If there are fewer than eleven parties wishing (and entitled) to take part, there will not be a problem. However, we do not know as yet how many parties will in fact wish to participate.
