Hypothetical Question
If someone shot your significant other (or sibling if you have no "significant other") and you could dodge the bullet, would you?
I have no "significant" other, but I do have a little brother. At first, this may sound cruel, but bear with me. I would not dodge the bullet. I have experienced pain and loss in my life already and I know how to cope with it. I wouldn't want my brother to have to go through his whole life with the same loss I know I'd feel if I lost him. I would rather carry that burden myself.

So the question in shorter form is if you could take a bullet for someone you care for would you?

Except I wanted to make it a specific individual.

I'd probably instinctivly dodge it then find the shooter and do something violent.

I'd take the bullet.
I probably wouldn't. Not that I don't care about them, but I'd rather get revenge later than die now. I'd try to dodge with my arm or something, though. Just not put myself in a fatal situation.
Plus, also, if they're really targeting your loved-one, and you dodge it, they'll probably shoot at your loved-one again after your dead. That's logical.

I'm too lazy and probably wouldn't be able to get out of the way, anyway. I'd rather not love anyone, so I don't have to make these decisions. :)
I would take a bullet for my significant other. The question didn't state whether you would die or not, so I would guess you have some sort of chance to live. Either way, I would still take the bullet.

I would like to think I would. With time to think and know that the bullet would hit me and not them I would indeed make that choice. However, we have a sense of self preservation. It is hard to know which would prevail.

I'd take the bullet, i think, but maybe by instinct i would dodge it...
For that special person, yes, I'd take bullets or whatever harm was aimed at her,
if I had the choice. Which is not the case at the moment, so this is purely academic.
I'd take the bullet for my girlfriend. a) i love her more than anything in the world and b) i might survive

Pfft, fuck that. I don't like most of my family that much anyway. Besides, if I have time to dodge it, I have time to half-dodge it and take it in the shoulder.
