I've been wanting to create a forum for my 3 store fronts (two links can be found in my sig) which won't cost money to run. How would I do this?

Given that we're not about to add forums for sports roleplay, or spam, or bring back forum seven, or anything of that nature, I can very definitively state that creating personal forums for people's storefronts on the Jolt boards is not going to happen.

As Crazy Girl has stated, Invisionfree and Proboards are both free forum sites, and are already widely used by the NationStates community; I advise you to look into those.

However, as this is no longer a matter for Moderation, I'm moving it to General.

It's pretty easy to create a forum, just sign up to invisionfree and experiment.

The best way for beginners to make a skin is the all-in-one generator from IFSkin zone... that is what I used at first:

use that to make a skin (there is even a sample, so you can test your creation) and then click on 'adminCP', scroll down the left column til you see 'manage style sheets' and copy over and paste whatever the generator gave you...

its that simple! ^_^

Forumotion.com also provide a free forum hosting service, based off a simplied version of Invision Power Board 1.3, they are recommended for those looking to not spend a time and still have a customizable online community.
