With school nearly over for those still in H.S. or lower, students must have been or are making plans for what to do over the next 3 months. I'm still under the crush of stupid tests and projects I have due over the next 2 weeks, but I was wondering; what gets you guys pumped over summer?

I understand the schedule isn't the same nationwide around the U.S. because southern school get out at the end of May. I also get how countries south of the equator get Winter off instead, so tell me what's the best about that. For anyone else out there, you get the picture so just answer it the best you can.

i would say chillin with friends, no more school, and BBqs rock. nothing against the girls, either ;)

Yeah... as a girl I quite like breezing about baring lots of skin.
And lazing around in the sun.
And not having to do anything, but having the time to do anything I do want to do.
And the parties we have.
And the weather (I really hate cold gloomy weather. Shame I live in England then ;)).

swimming outdoors in natural bodies of fresh water.

I know there isn't everything I wanted to put up there, but if anyone has anything else they're siked about like concerts and singing corny songs while travelling cross-country, why not say post anything on it?

I would have said girls, but since I'm predicting a very quiet summer in that department, I went with "Chillin' with my Homies".

It wont stop me trying with the girls though ;)

I voted for free time, cos the most of the chicks here in egypt cant be categorized as females. But more people voted for weather than free time which is quite surprising

Hmmm...at uni there's the chance to do all that anyway. But summer is the festival season - Isle of Wight, Download, Glastonbury, Truck, Carling Weekend, Meltdown, etc, etc...has to be that.

Sorry I wasn't thinking... about guys when I wrote up the options. Girls are great ya know. Its.. kinda hard to deter from... such a strong concept.

Definately the weather: no snow, thunderstorms, and wind in the leaves. We have to put up with bugs, but it's only for 4 months.

It used to be all about spending time with friends... But, now that I've got none of those (thanks a bunch, home school), it's all about... Well, nothing, really.

See, I've got free time year-round. But, I can't do much of anything with it, so...

No more school is the greatest thing. All the other parts happen because there is no more school.

You beat me too it...Tan girls in little bikinis-I especially like the ones with the flourescent trim around the edges.

Golfing with a bunch of friends and a bunch or beers.

Parties on my deck/pool -grilling, music and beer.

The beach on a weekday-I live at the shore. Its to crowded on the weekends.

Shorts and a tee shirt for months.

Girls wearing less than usual is an upside, as is the time i'm given to enjoy this. Also, the park ground is nice and dry so you ccan sit on it with impunity. Against getting a wet arse. Yeah. Parties. Barbeques, etc... all good.

Comon! I can't believe nobody likes BBQs and picnics!! Give me a break!!

I think that the best thing about Summer is the end of it. It's just not my type of season. It doesn't match my mood and personality very well (no I'm not Goth).

It's hot, it's sticky, tornados rip up the landscape... I still have to go to work and to school, so none of the options above apply.

Weather....It's hot as hell in Florida and it rains every day so no.
Girls....I do not see any girls during the summer. At the beach where they wear less clothes everyone is fat as hell. Put your shirt on please.
