well, he's nowhere near my generation, and i don't think he's gay just because he prefers living in france, but i've always thought johnny depp is incredibly talented, and very cool. no one else has the same sheer style.

He's a terrific actor--I've closed escrow thanks to Don Juan DeMarco more than once--and I'm really looking forward to his version of Willy Wonka.

His ablility to portray difficult and odd roles is extraordinary...he has fun with what he does...you can't say that about many actors over a long period of time...it may be the case at first, but time tends to take the fun out if it for many...doesn't seem the case with JD

I love a good Johnny Depp movie. He is by far the most versatile and talented actor of this generation. IMO.
