But I repeat myself--sort of. Not really, but I'm trying for a witty opening here.

So there's this guy, Bret Schundler, and he's a Republican running for governor of New Jersey, which takes balls, I'll give him that much. And he's got a website, and they need an exciting page, so they put this one up.

And it's not bad--it's got a lot of talk about reform, which, if you're the party out of power, is a good idea, and it's got a picture of the candidate with a cheering crowd behind him. But look closely at that picture. It doesn't look real natural, does it? Take a closer look.

Why, that man might have been photoshopped into that picture, and rather clumsily at that! I'm shocked! Shocked! that such things happen in politics.

And yet, it gets better, for take a guess where the yahoos who ran this guy's site got the original picture to photoshop their guy into.

Heh. Can he be sued for that?

I doubt it, but it doesn't really matter--the image was taken down as soon as it was reported. The guy who busted them was the photographer of the original picture. If I were Schundler, I wouldn't be able to fire my web guys fast enough.
