I'm just desperately curious to see if he'll do it. His merchandising is amazingly, mercilessly professional, so much so that I'm wondering if he's going to use this to set up a small business or something. But people cannot give money to this cause. It'll just establish precedent - anyone can threaten to kill a cute animal they don't care about online and use it to get money from idiots.

As the urbanlegends website says there used to be a disclaimer at the bottom of the page. The text was something like "No guarantees are given that the rabbit will really be consumed or actually exists" if I recall correctly (the thing is *old*).
In any case, many rabbits are eaten daily. I do not see why this one would be special.

NOW: I will go deer hunting and kill up to the limit to feed my craving for deer meat. The way to stop me is to raise 300,000 before deer season begins. So, all you bleeding hearts had better open up your wallets and give or I will shoot Bambi.
