If we poop in their CEOs inbox, would jolt.co fix the server?

Well? Do you thnik it would help expedite the process of fixing the flakey server if we pooped in the inbox of the CEO of Jolt.co? Huge amounts of legitmate complaints probably would help speed up the process. A business doen't like that kind of thing afterall.
Just thought anyway......

Just the inbox? Come on man, cover the CEO himself with fecal matter; let's not forget their "building", those sly Internet appartitions they are!
Capital idea! I'll get the chocolate laxatives ready.

Does Jolt have a CEO?
Anyway. The old server was far worse

It was a good server... at times...
It is obvious that some of you weren't around durning the old days when NS ran on its own server.
Trust me when I say this, what ever SLIGHT problem that Ns has on the Jolt server is nothing compared the to problems that we face on the old server. So I woulnd complain if were you.

No worries, understandable. Though I actually quoted your edited post since I didn't realise you changed it. Confused me for a sec, I thought I blink and the universe changed. :)

This server is actually very well maintained. I know many of the older NS'ers hated the old server and stayed off it because of the problems.

Heh...I hated the old server too, but my biggest complaint with this server is that it sometimes turns up dead links when it's not supposed to (i.e., saying that a thread does not exist when it does), or that the session "times out" too quickly (the old server at least let you take five hours to make a post). It's an improvement from the old days, but it could still be improved considerably.

I keep getting those, but I mostly am getting this (4 out of 5 clicks) and it's annoying the hell out of me:
Internal Server Error

Actually I was just being a smart-ass. I was a regular to a few message boards/forums back in the day when most BBS style message boards were still in Unix Green tect on black screen. I know what server nightmares can truely be for a messageboard. I'm just put out by the amount of Internal Server Errors I've been getting recently. I just like to grumble (this statement frightens me)

Honestly, I don't mind this server at all. Back in my day, with the old server, if we had the problems that Jolt has we would be crying with joy. Seriously. I remember days when it took me seven or eight successive attempts to even get into a thread, let alone make a post.
But, back on topic, I suppose pooping in the Jolt CEO's inbox would certainly get his/her attention. Now, unless you attached a note or something, I suspect the Jolt people would just be mystified and our problems would continue.
How about smearing crap all over the walls of Jolt's home office? That seemed to work on South Park.

I got those earlier today...I tried posting around 4PM EST and it took me an hour just to get my subscriptions list loaded, with a couple of those errors too. Now, it's better though, because I think there are less people awake at this time of night (it's 12:35AM where I am now).
