I love the Farside. Really. I do. But what I want to know is, who else loves the Farside? Hmmmmmmmm? Every single one (well. Not EVERY one) of those comics are absolute gold. Look. I even found my favourite one to show you.

So, with this said, and my proof given. Tell me, and share with me your wondrous tales of farside adulation. Go on.

I think it's impossible not to love the Far Side.

I love the Farside-two comics I used to carry in my wallet till they disintegrated-

One where the mother is scolding the children to stop jumping on the bed and go to sleep or she'll be forced to knock three times and summon "the floating head of death" as the father is inflating a huge scary balloon outside the window.

Another- A slob in a wife beater t shirt is standing there menacingly, and the dog is standing in front of him with dynamite strapped to him, taunting "come on tough guy, kick me!! WHats the matter, cat got your tongue?"

A good online comic if you like "The Far Side" is "The Parking Lot is Full"...

Kind of like the Far Side, but with a more bizarre and cruel sense of humour...

How about:

"welcome to Heaven, here is your harp"
and beneath:

"welcome to Hell, here is your accordion"

My favourite is in The Prehistory of the Farside. I can't describe it in a fashion to do it justice, but to sum up for those who've seen it: snake+crib!

that reminds me of the other strip entitled "More trouble brewing", which had 'Ed's Dingo Farm' right next to 'Loreen's nursery'. And all the Dingos are at the fence staring at the babies playing.
Never let it be said that Gary Larson was one who knew where to draw the line in tasteless cartoons.

My favorite one:

"But on the other hand, Feldman, having the biggest brain among us means that it's a mere child's play to subdue you with an ordinary headlock"

Sorry, I didn't find it online.
For me, they are very hard to get. Only once in a while I manage to get a stars&stripes.
There are Larsons too, which are right away incredible. :D

Greatest comic strip ever. I've had desk calendars, planners, most of the books (including Prehistory), and even his worm book (which isn't a collection of comics, but a real little book, illustrated in classic Far Side style, of course).
