Huh...
I read the book. Don't remember where I saw the url, could have been in the book.

80's? Childhood bliss. horrible clothes, good music, hilarious music. The decade when the future looked brighter than ever.

always rebel against hegemony. If that's too boring rebel agaist your local book store for their hideous polluting. It may sound weird but could be fun. Remember to take a camera with you to record your attack against them.

I heard about NS in a computergame magazine I read. it was "website of the month" or similar.

The 80s was the decade in which I was born. Which makes it awesome. The music ruled too.

OH! OH! Rebel against Noncomformity. It's the last thing They'll expect.

1. Through some blog I read regularly

2. The last two years of the decade were good as I was actually alive for them, but the music started well in the early 80s but fissled out to utter crap by the end of the decade.

3. Do everything the opposite of what people expect or want you to do.

You could also rebel against the use of words more than once in a conversation. Or rebel against the letter 'e' and just not ever use it.

Sounds good, but why not just rebel against crappy 80's Synth-Pop? I mean, there's so much more to the music of that decade...

or... now this may be a crazy idea... you could just not. why not show other people the joy of all types of 80's music instead of rebelling against synth-pop? make love not war.

You make a fine point.

*hands you a cookie*

And, on that note, there is a lot of good Synth-Pop. I don't care what others think --- I like what I like, regardless of genre labels.
