I can't believe the ACLU would attempt to ban/censor anything - I mean the whole organization is there to prevent the banning/censoring of things, and other abuses of the 1st amendment.

Now, if some Gov't group or function tried to distribute/show the Passion of the Christ, I could see the ACLU having problems with that.

googling "ACLU Passion of The Christ" just gets a bunch of nutball "ACLU hates God RrARG!" sites, and even they didn't make any mention of any supposed banning. And given how google works, any real news sites would come up before any nutball sites, confirming for me that no such censorship has taken place.

no, the thing is, they were cool and all, but killing in the name of God is wrong and blasphimus. They were not doing "God's will," and while it made a good movie, and Irish people are awesome, if they were real, they would just be 2 more killers.

I'm a non-believer and God hasn't done anything to punish me. And, if there was a God, I'm sure he wouldn't only care about the Christians. What about the Jews and the Muslims? They believe in God, but God won't protect them.

Boondock Saints do rock.

The Boondock Saints disgust me.

Why you ask?

First, they throw out any and all of the tenets of the rule of law, they play judge, jury and executioner. They do not give the accused a chance to defend themselves, and as such, sink to the same level as those whom they would destroy.

They would feed a massive spree of vigilantism, causing people all over to throw off the justice system, and instead replace it with a system with a bunch of kangaroo courts.

by the way, the commandment really should be "thou shalt not murder" not "thou shalt not kill"...subtle but major difference

They could have kicked the Boondock Saint's asses any day of the week and looked cool doing it. Especially Fenster.
