I just heard on the SAV rock station's news that there is a Tennessee mother who threw a huge birthday party for her 16-yr old son and 30 of his friends - by hiring a stripper. FYI, it is illegal to expose minors to adult entertainment in Tennessee, or something like that. I'm not exactly sure how it works when it's on your own private property, but the stripper was paid ($150, too, she got a deal!) and many of the kids were underage. Even so, some kids' parents were there, both the birthday boy's parents were, too, and no one cared that this stripper was giving this kid his best birthday party ever. Problem is, apparently this mom is one of those smart people, you know, who do intelligent things, cause she took pictures, then had them processed at a photo store. Naturally, when the workers processed the photos and saw teenagers next to a naked stripper, they alerted the authorities, and now the parents of the kid are being charged with exposing a minor to adult entertainment. Further proving her own superior brainpower, the mother has chosen to defend herself in court, claiming, "That's bs, he wasn't being harmed in any way!" (I'll say he wasn't!) Now, my local rock dj thinks this mom deserves mother of the year award. I think it must be pretty weird, if your own mother hires a stripper for your 16th birthday...wouldn't that just kinda make you uncomfortable? Some stripper's giving you a lapdance while your parents watch?? And take pictures! Anyway, what do y'all think of this fine family and their freaky fiasco?
