If everything was exactly opposite would we actually notice any difference?
Is a slave still a slave if they dont know they are a slave?
These are just some of the weird questions my friends have asked me today and my brain really cant cope with them at all. Maybe you guys can give me something to reply with.

If everything was exactly opposite would we actually notice any difference?: While vests have no sleeves, a liter of syrup is like time travelling!
Is a slave still a slave if they dont know they are a slave?

If a slave doesn´t know that he´s a slave he´s a dumb slave.
If everything was the exact opposite the slave would be free!

When is a door not a door?
When it's ajar. (canned laughter)
No, if everything was exactly opposite in space we wouldn't notice the difference, just the same way as if time stopped and restarted we'd never notice, or if, in fact, you only began to exist, memories and all, the moment you hit the "Submit Reply" button, you'd never have noticed you didn't exist before.
As for slaves, well, there's a layer of anarchy in that one. I'd say yes, they are, if they're treated the way our society and language define slaves; indentured labourers who aren't paid for their services.

So what your asking is that if people are not self aware to themselves and their situation is it ok to violate their basic rights ie freedom. No, not if the person forcing the 'slave' to be a 'slave' knows that infact they are engaging in slavery. If someone was to sexually abuse a child, who didn't know it was wrong and even if they adult didn't know it was wrong, it still is wrong, because it affects us, the non violater of other peoples rights. It goes against our beliefs what we see is just, our moral standards and that of society.

I've been there. It's real....boring. Yellowstone National Park is nice, though.
Old Faithful, Steamboat, Mammoth Falls. It's a geological cesspool. Very stinky.

But the question doesnt ask if it is right or not but simply whether a slave is only a slave if someone recognises the fact
But the question doesnt ask if it is right or not but simply whether a slave is only a slave if someone recognises the fact
as said a slave is still a slave if the person forcing the slave to be a slave recognises the they are infact endorsing slavery.
