In Halo 1 had pistols, Halo 2 has duel wield. The cheeped out the rockets and the banshees in multilayer were a let down. As for me, I would say H1. So what do you think?

The million dollar question.
I like Halo2's faster pace, after months Im still not sure if I like the no-health deal. Pistol I'm glad they changed, though the single Banshee maps piss me off(Ascension). The rocket launcher I can deal with since you only get a few shots, the unlimited energy in the sword is a bad idea though, I think it should run out like in campaign.
Overall I would say I like Halo 2 better, the multi is what makes it for me.
I just wish they didnt add the Arbiter to campaign mode, and I think there should have been more Earth maps

On the whole, I prefer halo 2, purely for single player. As for multiplayer, they can't even compare to most anything the pc releases. They don't have any balance in the weapons whatsoever. That and the assault rifle in halo one sucked, but the pistol was great.
In single player mode though, the balance is a non issue.
