In the end I really don't believe in this kinda stuff at all. Sure, ESP might exist but I don't think so, so for now I won't believe. If somebody did it right in front of me consistently and Penn and Teller gave me the thumbs up signal from the background then I would believe.

(1) Do you believe in ESP? (Extra-Sensory Perception) ETs? (Extra Terrestrials) Dream symbolism? Ghosts/werewolves/vampires/zombies/other "mythological" humanoid creatures?

Not particularly, probably somewhere but not capturing our farm workers, sometimes, and no. Respectively.

(2) Are you theist, agnostic, atheist/nontheist, unsure, or something else?

Atheist/nontheist

(3) Do you connect ESP, ETs, and Dream symbolism with spirtual or scientific beliefs? What about other "paranormal" subjects?

ESP if true, yes with dream symbolism, no with ETs. Dream symbolism isn't paranormal though. It's just taken too far by fans of Freud.

(4) Do you believe that some or all "paranormal" activity can be explained scientifically?

Theoretically, yes. Culturally, no.

(5) Have you ever related a "paranormal" story to friends?

Oh, yeah.

(6) Did you actually believe the story? If not, did you make it up?

Like a lot of us I think I just half-believed.

(8) What would it take for you to believe in "paranormal" concepts?

Depends on the concept. There is no one magic way to convince me of anything in general, and if there was I'm certainly not going to advertise it...

(9) Do you enjoy science fiction/fantasy TV shows?

Nope, don't really watch TV if I can help it.

(10) Do you have any superstitions which don't really have anything to do with your religious standing?

Any superstitions I have have nothing to do with my religious standing.

(9)Yes
(10)No, not really.

im an atheist and i dont believe in any of that stuff.

it would take concrete evidence for me to believe. alien bodies, captured bigfoot, seeing the lock ness monster close up

extreme specific predictions made well in advance sealed away until after the fact. no wrong predictions.

i live in a town that had its own ufo incident. socorro new mexico, some time in the 50s. local cop saw the craft land and take off. my husband was a boy at the time and he (and everyone else in town) went down to see the perfectly round burn marks on the ground. there has been no "real" explanation of the event.

I've heard of that. I like UFO-related government conspiracy theories.

(1) Do you believe in ESP? (Extra-Sensory Perception) ETs? (Extra Terrestrials) Dream symbolism? Ghosts/werewolves/vampires/zombies/other "mythological" humanoid creatures?
I believe that there are more senses than our five, I know some animals can sense electricity at the very least. I believe in ETs, I just don't think they're on Earth. I believe in dream symbolism, you dream about something symbolising something, big deal. As for mythical creatures, I have seen no proof of any, except possibly Big Foot which may or may not exist.
(2) Are you theist, agnostic, atheist/nontheist, unsure, or something else?
Unsure I guess
(3) Do you connect ESP, ETs, and Dream symbolism with spirtual or scientific beliefs? What about other "paranormal" subjects?
I'm sure there is a scientific explanation for ESP and ETs, I think there is a semiotic, biological and psychological explanation for dream symbolism.
(4) Do you believe that some or all "paranormal" activity can be explained scientifically?
Sure I think science can explain some stuff.
(5) Have you ever related a "paranormal" story to friends?
Yep
(6) Did you actually believe the story? If not, did you make it up?
I saw it in the sky...
(7) For theists who do not believe in anything mentioned here, why should you believe in your theology but not in these "paranormal" concepts?
N/A
(8) What would it take for you to believe in "paranormal" concepts?
Proof
(9) Do you enjoy science fiction/fantasy TV shows?
Hell yeah!
(10) Do you have any superstitions which don't really have anything to do with your religious standing?
Nope

(1) Do you believe in ESP? (Extra-Sensory Perception) ETs? (Extra Terrestrials) Dream symbolism? Ghosts/werewolves/vampires/zombies/other "mythological" humanoid creatures?
Esp... maybe.
Extra terrestrials... not that have visited the earth, the odds that there's some alien life out there are good though.
dream symbolism... depends on the interpretation, some are silly, some could just be your brain subtly pointing out things that are just under your nose.

(2) Are you theist, agnostic, atheist/nontheist, unsure, or something else?
Agnostic humanist.

(3) Do you connect ESP, ETs, and Dream symbolism with spirtual or scientific beliefs? What about other "paranormal" subjects?
Scientific.

(4) Do you believe that some or all "paranormal" activity can be explained scientifically?
If it exists in the first place...

(5) Have you ever related a "paranormal" story to friends?
I lack experience. The only thing was an ouija board when I was 8, but one of my friends pushed it and admitted to it.

(8) What would it take for you to believe in "paranormal" concepts?
Credible, emperical evidence.

(9) Do you enjoy science fiction/fantasy TV shows?
yes, and I read sci-fi as well.

(10) Do you have any superstitions which don't really have anything to do with your religious standing?
Other than things that make me slighly obsessive compulsive, not really.

I somewhat believe in ESP. I definitely believe in ETs and dream symbolism. Ghosts? Some. Werewolves? Not much. Vampires? A little. Zombies? No. Other "mythological" humanoid creatures? Some.

(2) Are you theist, agnostic, atheist/nontheist, unsure, or something else?
I'm somewhere in-between theist and agnostic.

(3) Do you connect ESP, ETs, and Dream symbolism with spirtual or scientific beliefs? What about other "paranormal" subjects?
I connect ESP, ETs, and dream symbolism with scientific beliefs. Same goes for most other "paranormal" subjects.

(4) Do you believe that some or all "paranormal" activity can be explained scientifically?
Yes.

(5) Have you ever related a "paranormal" story to friends?
More than one.

(6) Did you actually believe the story? If not, did you make it up?
I made some up, some I exaggerated, and some I believed.

(8) What would it take for you to believe in "paranormal" concepts?
For me to truly believe in, say, the existance of ghosts, I would have to personally be presented with scientific evidence.

(9) Do you enjoy science fiction/fantasy TV shows?
YES! In fact, fantasy is my favorite genre, and sci-fi is my third.

(10) Do you have any superstitions which don't really have anything to do with your religious standing?
A few related to everyday life, but no really seriously life-dodging type superstitions.

There is no reason to believe that we are alone in the universe. There is a great deal of reason to believe that we have never been visited. ETs may exist, but even if they do they are irrelevant until we enter into contact with them somehow.

Okay.

I believe that there is every possibility that SOMEWHERE in the massive expanse of universe, there is extra terrestrial life. I believe that there is some possibility that they have visited Earth and possibly even influenced some of our ancient cultures-perhaps, in a way, modern life as well. I also believe that when we as a people evolve to a level of scientific understanding currently inconcieveable (sp?), the solution to space travel over long distances will become obvious to us.

1) Clairavoyance and remote viewing have always been tested and its becoming more and more evident that these "abilities" are just how some people can become more focused and in tune with their surroundings so they can sense electromagnetic waves of different frequencies better than most people. Just like everyone can see and hear, these people can feel weird things.
2) Theist
3) Nope. There's nothing really mystical about it.
4) When they prove paranormal activity exists, then that can be answered.
5) Nope.
6) N/A
7) Because dead people are dead. They haven't been proven to do anything.
8) Some show of how deceased people can affect destiny.
9) Yep
10) I think some people are just born unlucky. Some people just never get a fair coin or die or event to go their way no matter how many times it happens. Some people are also just so unlucky that they get perceived as weird and uncharismatic.
