Does anybody else have them? Are they as unreliable as mine? Anybody know how to boost their signal?

Mine is sometimes a bit dodgy but mine does go through two floors. And to impove your signal might I suggest you get a router/ change your router as since i got my new router I've had better signal :) !

I have two.

One is on my laptop which is just a couple of rooms away from the router, although some problems at first, works fine now.

The adapter downstairs has a lot less signal, and is slower, but it's still alright.

Mine are Actiontec.

I have a wireless connection in a one bedroom apartment, and I get a great connection even on the fire escape. What type of router/wireless card d'you have? I'm using Linksys for both, and all is well, coupled with Comcast cable modem.

I think it's all Bush's fault. Gore invented wireless.

Mine works great. It was a PITA to set up. Your troulbe could be from a variety of things. It be useful to know more about your setup - particularly the make and location of your setup as well as a more specific nature of the problem.

I have noticed that I can get inerference from the microwave with mine. Cordless phones can also be a problem. It may even be a neighbor if you live in a close community.

I have had trouble with the cheezy antenna on the back breaking off. Sometimes the wire inside snaps but the antenna still looks good.

Can't really guess much more than that. Good luck.

Add longer antenes to it. My wireless network consists of shitty D-like routers and cards, for a total of 50 bucks, works just fine. Try adding bigger anteens.

I'm a WLANner indeed - and it SUCKS! Mine's a Siemens, but that ain't the problem, apparently the masterbox often disconnects for some odd reason. It's the transmitter, not the receiver, as I was told. Blimey me, since it don't make no difference. No WoW over Wlan for me :(

Siemens has issues. They eat themselves after a period of time. My Siemens was outstanding, until it stopped working. I have a linksys now and its pretty good. Decent signal in every room, plus I dont have to reset it whenever the isp drops, starts up the connection like nothing happened. With the siemens I would have to power down, wait 1 minute, then power up again.
