I found a copy of Max(x) Barry's Syrup in the recommended fiction section.

So naturally, having an almost cultish reverence for Max and this game, I picked it up and immediatly started to read. However, since my library card has fines on it I don't want to pay, I'll be taking my sister's card tomorrow to check it out so I can finish it.

I thought it was exciting. Then again, my life is pretty boaring.

My life got exciting after reading it.

A while back, Jennifer Government was in a similar section at the public library near me. :D

I found Jenifer Government on sale for $5.00 a few months ago and bought it and read it. Never seen Syrup for sale anywhere though (but then I rarely look).

Are Maxx Barry's books for sale in Canada? I never saw them.
I'll have to check to the library.

Hmm never really looked i mostly look for books on WWII and New Zealand Specifically.

I think they are interesting...
Syrup does sound cool though.

I've read both books, but in different libraries. Took a lot of searching on the catalogue, but it all panned out. I've NEVER seen Syrup on sale, but I've seen Jennifer Government on sale in quite a few places....

Jennifer Government is available at my library(which is the ONLY library in the system that has it), but I'm not sure about Syrup...yup, it's there too. It's also at some other librarys in the system.

I've never seen either one for sale, but then again I really haven't been looking for them.

I read the first chapter of 'Jennifer Government' as it is posted here, and thought that the whole premise was lame and that the writing was bad. Lets see if my 1st amendment rights stand up in this forum. Then again, as it is on a UK server....
But totally serious. Thats what I thought of it.
