I want this to be taken as seriously as possible. I know some on this forum have rather extreme views on politics, religion and other things. But I want to see how you would handle things.

1. Why did you decide to take power?

2. How did you come to power. War, election or some other means?

3. How will you divide the world?

4. How will you rule it?

5. The boundries of government? The boundries of Religion? The state religion?

6. The freedoms of the people?

7. Will people be elected into local offices? Will it be hereditary? How long will the serve for? Is there some way to get those officials to step down if the people under them do not like their rule? How much power will these people have?

8. Where will you place your capital? Will it be made from the ground up? Or will some other city become the seat of your empire?

9. Military Strength? Space Programs? Misc spending will go where?

I will answer these later once I have time. And feel free to add any other questions to it.

1. Why did you decide to take power?
because the world blows and is just going to end up either killing everything, or destroying itself in some other fashion, unless something is done!
*enter PM stage left*

2. How did you come to power. War, election or some other means?
election - honest, appealing to people's sense of perspective and compassion, helping them see the larger view & the whole picture...

3. How will you divide the world?
i won't.
but for governmental reasons it'll be divided into regional and local governments. see the UDCP manifesto (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=418610) for more info;)

4. How will you rule it?
i won't. after a transitional period of my supreme governance, political power and direct control over the means of production - the decisions of what to produce, how much to produce, and for whom to produce - will be given back to the people in a direct democracy. again, UDCP for more info... this is cos the UDCP exactly reflects my beliefs:p

5. The boundries of government? The boundries of Religion? The state religion?
Freedom of religion. No religious interference in government, unless the people want it (though it would be unconstitutional unless there's an ammendment)
Boundaries of Govt? Social justice and eqality will be ensured; near limitless control on the economy, but socially fairly libertarian. Whatever the people decide.

6. The freedoms of the people?
whatever they decide. Constitutionally, freedom of speech, the right to life, freedom of religion. UDCP (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=418610)

7. Will people be elected into local offices? Will it be hereditary? How long will the serve for? Is there some way to get those officials to step down if the people under them do not like their rule? How much power will these people have?
Unelected officials will process the will of the people as voted for through (effective) referendum. these people will be picked/head-hunted for their skill, or will be specially trained for the job (as lawyers are today in uni). the job will be open to all.
its a job and they may serve for as long as they wish, but if numbers are running low in a locality they may have to be encouraged to stay, or have recruitment drives.
their power will only be to make the vote of the people into law, which is then enforced by a indipendent police force and judiciary system.
there will be another set of unelected & specially trained officials to ensure public decision is not contrary to public interest, or based on short lived emotional & irrational response to a disaster, for example. these officials will have the power to stall ammendments and appeal to the public, but never stop a bill from passing.

8. Where will you place your capital? Will it be made from the ground up? Or will some other city become the seat of your empire?
there will be local capitals for each governmental region, i guess.
there should be a global capital where the central distribution and governmental network is housed (and guarded), and thats where my modest little palace would be;)
somewhere nice, like italy or south france

9. Military Strength? Space Programs? Misc spending will go where?
abolishment of money (see UDCP (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=418610) again)
no military except what is required for self-defense & a non-aggressionist attitude.
space programs... why not? whatever the people decide of course.

1. Why did you decide to take power?
A: Partially because I feel I could do a better job then everyone else, although the power and wealth in a considerable influence to a meglamaniac such as myself.

2. How did you come to power. War, election or some other means?
A: Whatever means that keeps me in power.

3. How will you divide the world?
A: Quite simply, between my friends. We've already begun working it out.

4. How will you rule it?
A: As a progressive Liberal, I would legalise several issues I believe should be done so, and would increase individual freedoms for the people whilst providing a state that supports the populace rather than works against it.

5. The boundries of government? The boundries of Religion? The state religion?
A: Government boundaries would stop at the point of invading people's liberties or privacy, except in cases where said liberties would impinge on another person's liberties and privacy. Religion would not be managed and let to individual beliefs. The State would be Athiest.

6. The freedoms of the people?
A: Freedoms of the people would be paramount, expect where those freedoms hindered the freedoms of other citizens.

7. Will people be elected into local offices? Will it be hereditary? How long will the serve for? Is there some way to get those officials to step down if the people under them do not like their rule? How much power will these people have?
A: People would be chosen by myself for whatever time period I decided. I would be able to get people to step down if I felt they were performing their job badly. Power would be paramount to the point where individual freedoms where hindered.

8. Where will you place your capital? Will it be made from the ground up? Or will some other city become the seat of your empire?
A: Nottingham, UK - my home town.

9. Military Strength? Space Programs? Misc spending will go where?
A: Converging of the world's military forces to form a single organisation. Misc spending would go to investment and improvement of state services.

1. I decided to take power because the world was too screwed up and needed to be fixed.

2. Together with a group of Illuminati assassins, we eliminated all the world leaders.

3. The world will now fall under a single government.

4. I would be a benevolent ruler.

5. People would be able to retain religion, culture and political autonomy. Each nation-state would be able to make it's own laws, but they would all fall under the Global Government's control.

6. Pretty much, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, you can do it. Eat, drink, and be merry! Life is short, live it up! You see someone doing something you don't like? You can bitch to me all you want, I'm not limiting them in any way! You don't like what they're doing? Ignore them! They're not hurting you!

7. The world will be structured as a Constitutional Monarchy, with the monarchy being mere figureheads (much like Britian). There would be a global senate with 4 year terms, a world court with 10 year terms, and an executive office with 8 year terms. The Constitution will not be modified in a way that would take away the rights of the people.

8. The capital will be in Switzerland. However, my palace will be built from the ground up on an artificial island off the coast of Japan.

9. We will pour much of our resources into exploring space and medical research, as well as growing demand for product for the growing population. Capitalism will be maintained, but the government will control medical care. Military would be relegated to the Global Security Force and the Space Marines (the aliens are a comin'!)

I will answer these later once I have time. And feel free to add any other questions to it.

(1) I simply decided it was time for me to take over the world.
(2) I posed as a nonthreatening conformist Christian American and slowly made my way through the political ranks while still not on the radar. I would give you more details, but you don't have proper international security clearance. :p
(3) Whatever makes geographical sense.
(4) Extemely liberally.
(5) Boundaries? It is a benevolant dictatorship. There is a commitee of elected officials which can overthrow the current leader if the majority are for it. Religion and government are seperate entities. The state religion is nonexistant.
(6) Pretty much unlimited, with the exception of any groundless physical abuse/murder.
(7) All local officials will be elected and will serve for five years. They cannot be overthrown-if you vote for them, you're stuck with them. Their power will be extremely limited.
(8) I will place the capital somewhere where the climate is pleasant all year long.
(9) The military will be nonexistant. Space programs will get quite a bit of funding. Arts and educational programs will also get significant sums of government funding.

1. Why did you decide to take power?

The world was in a degenerating spiral and something needed done.

2. How did you come to power. War, election or some other means?

When the world reaches it lowest point and teeters on the brink of war I will step in and guide people back to sanity and thoughtfulness.

3. How will you divide the world?[/QUTOE]

The continents will remain the same by name. Within each continent will be divided into different regions. These regions into territories and then down to the municipalities that control a given part.

[QUOTE=Sanctum Imperialis]4. How will you rule it?

It will be a fair and just rule.

5. The boundries of government? The boundries of Religion? The state religion?

The government will be light but present. Enough to ensure money is brought to its proper place and other goods are distributed to the masses of people. Religion will be a persons choice. But there will be a state religion that embraces humanity and within each human their is a divine spark and everyone can make a difference.

6. The freedoms of the people?

So long as it is not detrimental to society then if you so chose to do it then that is your choice. But you cannot force others through peer pressure or other means to partake in what you do.

7. Will people be elected into local offices? Will it be hereditary? How long will the serve for? Is there some way to get those officials to step down if the people under them do not like their rule? How much power will these people have?

Muncipality leaders are elected from those in the area they wish to govern. To move higher in the government they must pass a series of tests. If they can get a sponsor higher up and at least 80% of their muncipality vote they are placed into a pool for advancement with others that are running for various offices. To become the territory head is elected by the various leaders of the principalities in their territory.

The same way they are elected into territory head is how they are elected as region head. But to become region head 70% of the region must vote for the elected person. There are no multiple candiates each one is picked by the various councils and other checks and balances. The people vote based on the information provided (by law no pertinent information my be with held).

Continental leadership is appointed by me from the various region heads. They must under go more testing. They must also be tested if they can handle the strain of such a position.

For a muncipality head to forced to resign 65% of his muncipality must vote in favor of it. For a territory head to be forced to resign there needs to be a 70% vote and the sponsorship of 2 other territory heads. For region governs to be forced into resignation two possible ways exist. The first is by at least a 65% vote in territory heads or by the continental head asking them to step down. The only way for a continental head to be forced into resignation is by my authority alone.

Nothing in government is hereditary. It is all by skill and personal drive. If you have the will and desire to get it done then you will. And all terms of office are for 6 years per election. The maximum relection limit is three.

8. Where will you place your capital? Will it be made from the ground up? Or will some other city become the seat of your empire?

I wont have a capital per say. I will travel almost constantly checking on everything. Getting the peoples opinions and what they need to better ensure everyones equality and happiness.

9. Military Strength? Space Programs? Misc spending will go where?

Military/Police Force - 5-10% depending on the needs to enforce local law.
Space - 25% since the planet will need some break in supporting to many humans.
Medicial - 40% to ensure the long lives of everyone. And free healthcare.
Agriculture - Varies depending on the demand for it in any given region.
Misc - Any money left over goes back to the people in forms of tax breaks, parks and other things that can be used.

And here are two more.

10. Tax Rates?

11. Gender roles.

1. Why did you decide to take power?

To make the world a happy, free but moral place without the evils of money and crime.

2. How did you come to power. War, election or some other means?

Through the means of democracy, I was firstly was elected as an MP in the Houses of Parliment at the tender age of 1 month holding a 20,000 majority representing the Liberal Democrats, after a term I retained my majority and was promoted to Shadow Home Minister.

This lasted a year until the death of our party leader, saw the opening for the leader of the our party which I stood for a won by a majority of 1 and 3/4 and therefore becoming the youngest Oposition Leader ever at the age of 5 years 1 month and 2 days. Between my appointment and my first General Election I swung the party to the Centre Left ground deserted by Labour, leading to the First Liberal goverment since WWI with an over whelming majority of 251 MP's.

After this victory I took Britain into the Federal Superstate of the United States of Europe and by the year 1998 at the age of nine, I led the coalition of Socialists and Liberals to the first victory in a European Election and therefore becoming the coalition's first President and the youngest European President.

During the five years of my presidency I created a welfare system which made all european's the equal of the rest of Europe, I also took the USE out of it's 5 year economic slump and created full employment for the first time ever. My final act as President was to negociate a single world government.

Then after two years out of Politics to embark on a career in music, I ran for the Presidentcy of the World representing the Liberal/Socialist Alliance, which we polled 4 billion of the 6 billion votes therefore handing me the Presidentcy
of the World at the age of 16, after only 16 years in Politics.

3. How will you divide the world?

I would divide the world into the following regions:

Europe
North America and the Caribbean
South America
Southern Africa
North Western Africa
North Eastern Africa
The Middle East
The Indian Subcontinent
South East Asia
Eastern Asia
Australia and the Pacific

4. How will you rule it?

Though fair and just rule.

5. The boundries of government? The boundries of Religion? The state religion?

The state and religion are never mixed. Religion is a personal choice which you yourself make and therefore should not be forced on others wether it be Christianity or Atheism people are allowed to make their own choices. While the state looks after the welfare of the people and keeps law and order.

6. The freedoms of the people?

Laws in general are very Liberal, with people provided with the freedom of choice. Though crimes like murder, rape and assault still exsist but are becoming rare due to the progressive Education and Rehabilitation Systems.

7. Will people be elected into local offices? Will it be hereditary? How long will the serve for? Is there some way to get those officials to step down if the people under them do not like their rule? How much power will these people have?

The stucture of Government would be like this:

The World Parliment - 1,352 members

The World Parliment would run all government required by the world. Each member serves a 5 year term, though can face votes of no confidence forcing them to step down anf time during there term. Though most of the power is with the people as referenda are held on most issues which decide on how there MP votes.

8. Where will you place your capital? Will it be made from the ground up? Or will some other city become the seat of your empire?

There would not be one capital, I would have one in each region;

Europe- Nottingham (my home city)
North America and the Carribean - Mexico City
South America - Lima
Southern Africa - Johanesburg
North Western Africa -
North Eastern Africa - Cairo
The Middle East - Jerusalem
The Indian Subcontinent - Dehli
South East Asia - Kuala Lumpa
Eastern Asia- Bejing
Australia and the Pacific - Sydney

9. Military Strength? Space Programs? Misc spending will go where?

Military spending would mainly come the form of Space Exploration, with full time armed forces at a minimum with a large reserve force. While most spending would be on welfare and equality making sure every one has the same standard of living where ever you live in the world. Education has a big budget to make sure that all have the right to a very high standard of Education and finally the Arts and Sports would recieve large funding to keep all entertained and amused.

THis looks entertaining....

1. Why did you decide to take power?:I took power to save Earth from moral destruction. And because I could.

2. How did you come to power. War, election or some other means?: I took power after being elected President-for-life in the United States of America, and invading Europe and Asia, whose government's were puppets of the Illuminati, of which I am the Grand Master of.

3. How will you divide the world/How will you rule it? The world government would center around a Divine Right Monarchy, headed by me. Afterwords, Earth would be divided up into provinces, with their own governors, appointed by me, based on ethnicity, in order to prevent wars based on Nationalism.

All power will eventually center around me, but local governments will be granted the right to rule themselves, at is impractical and impossible for one person to rule over every little aspect of the World.

Under me is the Politburo, which is the ruling council. The Politburo consits of all of the governors of the provinces of the One World Empire. The Politburo consists of the Central Committee and the Patriarchs. The Central Committee deals with the basic running of the Empire. The Patriarchs deal with official functions. The Monarch may remove and appoint a member of the Politburo for any reason. The Politburo is the actual governing body of the World. The Monarch simply controls who gets on.

The Throne is picked by the Politburo. Only the Patriarchs may become a monarch, but they may not vote. Only Central Committee members may vote.

5. The boundries of government? The boundries of Religion? The state religion?

The government shall be omnipotent, but there will be certain God-given rights that shall not be breached, or the people's loyalty to the government is absolved, as these God-Given Rights are rights that no man regardless of position may take. (deliberately vauge)

Monotheistic religions will be sponsored by the government, but all religious churches are tax-exempt and encouraged. Satanism is illegal and punishable by death. Athiesm is technically legal, but discouraged. Positions of power will not be granted to Athiests. Central Committee positions will not be granted to people who do not follow a monotheistic religion, and Patriarchs must be Christian.

6. The freedoms of the people? They will be granted basic rights, as long as they do not wander from the set moral code laid down by the Monarch.

7. Will people be elected into local offices? Will it be hereditary? How long will the serve for? Is there some way to get those officials to step down if the people under them do not like their rule? How much power will these people have? See Section Three

8. Where will you place your capital? Will it be made from the ground up? Or will some other city become the seat of your empire? The Capital of the New World Empire will be in Rome.

9. Military Strength? Space Programs? Misc spending will go where?

The Military's sole existance is the elimination of trouble-makers and revolutionaries. There will be space programs, and there will be NO Misc spending.
