Yes, and like all people who predict the future, you're predictions are so vague it could be anything, so that nobody can make you responsible if it doesn't happen... :p
Sucks to be you then.why for me
Because I don't care about or believe in your 'predictions'. Evidently you do. ;)
Wow, you were almost sane for about a week Ffc2, I'll forever treasure those days...
Seriously though, I much prefer the Hindu or Viking or Zoastrian apocalypses. They're far more imaginative and entertaining. Hell, even the Islamic one is better than yours. In that one, Jesus decends from the heavens and in a hilarious twist, declares Islam the truth path!

ROTF, that quote was on the web back in 2001, it was supposedly by Nostrodomos from 1648. In fact, it was a hoax, and he even died a century too early for that alledged quote.

I know, let's quote random Nostradamus stuff and try to fit it to current events!
Here, I found this one:
In the world there will be made a king
who will have little peace and a short life.
At this time the ship of the Papacy will be lost,
governed to its greatest detriment.
Eight years is a very shor period for the king of leaders Nostradamus was used to. GWB has known very little peace during his administration. Plus the Pope died and the Catholic Church is losing followers continously.

Superficially, it appears to be a dire prediction of doom, but we must remember that all true prophets speak the language of analogy. The "city" is not a city, the "heart" is not a heart, the "blood" that pours forth is not red and sticky, but the mercy, or lack thereof, no doubt is genuine.

I am aware that that is how bible codes are commonly used, but when produced after the fact it is not a prophesy. The nostradamus prophesies are regarding things that were in the future, subjectivly speaking, for nostradamus.
So, if bible code is to be used prophetically, it will have to yield information regarding things that have not come to pass yet, be they vague or not.

I agree with your opinion of the bible code, but Nostradamus' prophecies are just as bad. They're so vague that you wait for an event to happen then twist and shape the quatrain's meaning so it seems to fit the event. I was just explaining why bible code seems convincing to those without critical thinking skills.

Since you had so much fun with the first one. Here's another one for you to pick apart.
The unity of the human race, as envisaged by Bahá'u'lláh, implies the establishment of a world commonwealth in which all nations, races, creeds and classes are closely and permanently united, and in which the autonomy of its state members and the personal freedom and initiative of the individuals that compose them are definitely and completely safeguarded. This commonwealth must, as far as we can visualize it, consist of a world legislature, whose members will, as the trustees of the whole of mankind, ultimately control the entire resources of all the component nations, and will enact such laws as shall be required to regulate the life, satisfy the needs and adjust the relationships of all races and peoples. A world executive, backed by an international Force, will carry out the decisions arrived at, and apply the laws enacted by, this world legislature, and will safeguard the organic unity of the whole commonwealth. A world tribunal will adjudicate and deliver its compulsory and final verdict in all and any disputes that may arise between the various elements constituting this universal system.

Could very well be. The writer was a very forward looking person. Interesting side note. The first telegraphic message sent out was a quote from the Bible, "What hath God wrought." It happened on the same day that the Baha'i Faith began.
