Private individuals have been falling in love across cultrual boundaries for millenia. Making it an artistic statement is an imaginative take. I like it. The process they chose is quite touching. Submitting a picture and then making a watercolour from the photo, and presenting it as an object of affection invovles an enormous amount of trust on both sides. Nice touch.
