I know what you mean. British Music has been going slowly downhill ever since the Spice Girls. All our decent acts (Coldplay and similar acts) are being shunned for G4, McFly, the Frog et cetera.

The thing I don't get is, people must buy that crap they are offering, judging by the fact it was near continous tv ads, yet I have never heard anyone with it  (that's a good thing mind)

*sigh* I hate it nearly as much as I hate the evil dog that lives near me.

Meh, Coldplay aren't that great (IMO), and the charts have never exactly been full of quality* acts. British music has never been that great, except for the odd great bands and periods they are around in, I mean, Cliff Richards is the highest selling artist, a sad indictment of the country if there ever was one.

Just Signed the petiton! Finally something is being done to try and remove this annoying meance from our screens (well MTV).

It is the single most annoying thing on this planet and it's not even original! Last year a took an insanity test with the exact same vocals as the Crazy Frog Ringtone, all they have done is plagurised it and stuck an image to it. Then they make it even more annoying by making a "Song". I use the word song here in the loosest term possible as it makes Bustard and McFly look like talented Artists (I know the guy who wrote "Five Colours in Her Hair" for McFly). Sadly this song along with all the other crap in the charts looks to be claiming the Number One spot along with "Greats" such as "The Ketchup Song", "Can We Fix It" and "The Birdy Song".

And all after having the first decent Number One in over three years. Though Lyla is not Oasis at the best, it is still a better offering than what the mainstream has had for the past 5 years.

I agree, both Europe and Asia were lame bands. ;)

Compared to no one. Any commercial chart music tends to the middle of the road

Death to the Crazy Frog!!! And all of it's spin-offs! The DJ Frog, the Remix Frog... they're all like spyware on the computer; annoying yet difficult to remove.

You could have said the charts are always full of shit rather than just picking on Britain

I only agree with violent destruction of two things-
1)Fascism
2)The "crazy frog" creators and anybody who ensures that the public is forced to see it

Im begining to think the second is the greater threat
