Where should men shave?

In the bathroom? Or in the kitchen?
Er... no.
I meant whether they should shave e.g. their legs or their bottom.
My ex-gf completely opposed to that and I would like to know what other woman (or non-straight men, though i personally am not interested in their opinion ;) ) think about it.

Face. Unless they've got a beard. I hate stubble. Everywhere else....nicely trimmed is alright, but no shaving :p

If they don't want a beard, men should save their faces ... period. If they do, then a bit of a trim now and then. :)

it's just common courtesy to keep the pubes trimmed back. no one wants a mouthful of short'n'curlies. no one ever.

as for the face, a five o'clock shadow is damn sexy, or so i've been told, but too much mor ethan that is problematic, unless you're actually trying to grow it out.

Male Callistans: Everywhere. If they have hair, it's a sign they have leukemia.

Male Humans: Face and a few other areas depending on their choice.

Men should not shave. And, on a personal note, until women can grow a beard, they have no say in our faces.

I would have to agree with that, for everyone. underarms trimmed or shaved. i don't mind beard as much, unless you are rubbing some sensitive part, in which case... i may complain.

At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum - it's breathtaking - I highly suggest you try it.

Erm...okay. If I were to go for a "shorn scrotum", I would need to make sure that these parameters were met:
1. I had a girlfriend. (I don't.)
2. She asked me to shave. (She can't. Mainly because she doesn't exist. See parameter 1.)
3. I done the shaving. (No-one approaches me balls with a razor but me.)
4. I got something in return. (Unlikely. No woman can provide what I want*.)

*That is to say, no woman is in possesion of a sword forged from thunderbolt iron.

men should shave only those parts they WANT to shave. if they desire to shave some part, then fine, if they have no desire to, they should leave it as is.

Men should shave everywhere, thus shortening the time required to prepare them for the oven.

If I shave tomorrow morning I get my five o'clock shadow in mid-August. That's not sexy at all.

About the only thing I don't shave is my face.

I either shave at night, using a blade razor and shaving cream and shit, or just before my morning shower with an electric razor. I used to rejoice at the fact that my facial hair was blonde, and as such, I didn't have to shave as often as I would have otherwise, but for some mysterious reason, my facial hair has turned a reddish-color, and as a result I now need to shave every single day. I don't like that one bit.

I always shave in the bathroom, but as I live in a dorm, that really is the only option. Shaving in the cafeteria would be quite odd.

I only shave my face, and that area below my chin, I don't want to grow a crazy Amish beard.

I have a beard and trim it every few days so that it doesn't get too long. I don't shave any other part of my body, although I can see why a man would want to were he involved with a partner. I don't mind my own body hair and since it's not like I've got a mate or anything, I don't see a reason to.

LMFAO!

and as for my opinion - a shorn below I find quite sexy and of course does save on those 'pube on the tonsil' choking moments .....

Personal preference. I think I should be able to shave wherever and whatever I want to shave. Admittedly, however, my g/f's opinions do have a tendency to change my mind on those places.

question to native english-speakers
can "Where should men shave?" really be understood as a equivalent to "Which parts of their body should men shave?"
Or was that just an odd German-to-English translation?

Yeah it can mean that in english too.

Face if they want to. I personally like hair on guys, so I really don't like the look of a hairless male body.

That said, I cannot stand hairy backs. Waxing has a purpose.

I shave my face sometimes and my armpits every three weeks or so. It stops them getting sweaty and thus itchy and stinky.

That said, I cannot stand hairy backs. Waxing has a purpose.
Yeah, I've never heard anything positive said about hairy backs, by anyone.

How long have you been online? Seriously, the sites out there for back hair fetischists can make you afraid of the dark.

where should men shave? where they want to or not
i shave every few days because
1. the stubble bugs me
2. i shave the top and sides of my head and all but my thin mustache & gotee because i have a whole chinese style thing going with a que (long braid of hair off the back of the head..think crouching tiger).

Yeah, I've never heard anything positive said about hairy backs, by anyone.
my fiance would disagree. hairy men have a higher sex drive....and i am one of them :D gotta love that scandanavian blood in me ;)

men shaving thier backs or even women shaving is a socially motivated action, based on what a particular society deams appropriate. personally i don't care, in fact there are certain parts i prefer women do not shave(not talking about thier head). but then again i am a rather down to earth guy.

It works as both, but most're likely to interpret it as the latter. Ich hoffe dass dir helfen wird. (I try to practice German when I can)

I personally shave everywhere. Though I sometimes get lazy with my face. My fiancee has no preference, but I figure if I want her to shave, I should too, ne?

I've been online for a few years, but I don't go looking for that sort of thing. I'm going by comments heard (NOT received ;)) in real life, if you've heard of that.

Ah, the downside of my collecting "retro porn" is that I have to wade through stuff like that. It's suprising how quickly one gets desensitised.

I take it you have never been to an S&M club's "bear night".

lol..I would, if I had the time to do that every day. I've done it before, though. So, excepting limbs, then. *Shakes fist at your noticing and grins*
