So yes ..

I have both a laptop and a pc, and both their graphics cards suck. With the nagging lack of money I have, I shall obviously be upgrading the pc.

Now, the pc has a Intel(r) 84825G Graphics Controller. Useless.

I need a graphics card with Transform and Lighting, Direct x 9.0 Compatible and other lovely functions like that.

Could anyone suggest any Cheap (keyword) Graphics Cards that I could buy to support this, and where could I buy them from?

AGP or is it new enough to have PCI express?

For AGP I personal own a SAPHIRE 9600XT 256

Great solid card that solidly whomps all the 9k series except the 9800 pro and XT

Good price and have had great luck with SAPHIRE


PCI express (and I just built this one last week) I am using a SAPHIRE x700 pro 256

I LOVE that card as well like playing on glass just SMOOTH

Oh and ordering I almost always do through new egg ... GREAT luck with them as well

Any of the Radeon 9000 series.I have a Radeon 9250 and it runs Guild Wars at the highest settings just fine.

Those Intel cards do indeed suck. I would set it aflame if it weren't permanently attached to the computer.
