What do you think of sandals? Should everyone wear this footgear? Should no one? What accessories are necessary to sandal wearing?

I think they're the devil's footgear.

Yep. Look on the underside, you'll see Satan's insignia right there.

I can't believe this poll doesn't include a Satanic option.

I would say they are okay, but unfortunately sandals are the work of Satan. Oh yes, the dark lord engineered them himself in a giant laboratory in hell. He worked day and night to create these abominations against the lord, and now we will surely be burning soon. You see, sandals are an incredibly comfortable sort of footwear. They make you almost feel barefoot, but you can walk and rocks and broken glass with them. If you wear a sandal you could be tempted by thoughts such as "wow, these are very comfortable, im going to worship satan now" or "hey, my feet touch the air and i am walking on gravel, but my feet don't hurt, there is no god" et cetera. If someone should offer you a pair of sandals, for your own sake, douse them in holy water, smack them with a bible, then run to the nearest church and pray.

Anyone with nice feet (notice the bold print?) should wear sandals.

It's really bad when people with crusty/hairy/all-around ugly feet wear them.
It's like a fat chick wearing a halter top - no one wants to see it.

I go barefoot as often as I can. I like to go shirtless, too. I find it really annoying when shops don't let me in because of those no shirt, no shoes, no service rules.

I'm just glad I can still do all my shopping without pants. ;)

Clip your toenails, keep your feet clean, then wear sandals.

My toenails have been permantly (sp?) removed on my big toes. I don't mind wearing sandals, but people tend to freak when they get up close.

And what are they doing that close? If they want to look it's their problem.

Is it more comfortable like that? I suppose you don't have to worry about them getting long and there are no more holes in the socks.

Ugh. I hate sandals. Can't stand having my feet exposed, and they're uncomfortable and give me blisters. Besides, it violates my school/life uniform: black dress shoes, black dress socks, grey dress pants, boxer shorts, white shirt, school tie, black Dickie's jacket. Add school V-neck sweater and/or scarf depensing on winter. And I can't sleep without socks. Seriously.

Well, it was pretty painful the first 6 months post-op (yes, it is considered surgery), but I can honestly say I now don't feel any real difference.

I wear my totally awesome bright orange Tui (www.tui.co.nz) jandels whenever I get the chance in summer. Otherwise I wear normal shoes.

During the summer I'm either in sandals or barefoot. Got to keep up that pedicure.

As it's about 106 degrees in Phoenix right now - the only things I wear are Sandals, a Speedo and a Cowboy Hat. Frickin Fascists won't let me into the KFC. Jesus wore Sandals, didn't he? That should be good enough for the Frickin Colonel.

sandals, especially birckenstocks, are amazingly comfortable and easy to put on/take off.

the people i see wearing them are usually trying to be really trendy, though, and they all wear the same thing: lots of hemp jewelry, abercrombie shorts, and they've usually hopped on the bandwagon and bought one of those nalgene water bottles. although come to think of it i fit into 2 of those categories...

Sandals are the ultimate footwear in the summer
hey-I even wear sandals with socks in the winter at times...I know I know...I"m a geek...whatever...don't care...my feet are nice...as long as they aren't growing things that clearly don't belong on a foot, then I say sandals away!
