I do! I still like the box that needs internet connection idea I came up with, but I want to hear your ideas. And please, lets start with.. the power of the hardware, perhaps? I say that it will be the weakest next gen console, but not much weaker than X-Box 360, but thats for the price-point that won't go through the roof and kill budgets (like PS3).

I am also worried that the system might have lag problems over the internet, especially on intense games like SSMB that Nintendo claims they willl have online play for the next SSB game.

What's your theory?

Word is it's far less powerful than either others. Free online games is a winner though. I already have wireless internet so expect to see me kick as and take names out in the online world.

I don't really think a lower processing speed is such a "weakness" - would you refuse to play a game on a current generation console because it has less power than any of the new ones?

I don't know. Online games aren't really what I play, but a lot of people do, so, we'll just have to wait to find out.

Ive heard that IBM is making two processors, one at 1.7ghz and one at like 2.3ghz, though which one will be in isnt known yet, or maybe a totally different one. It will have an ATI GPU, named hollywood. I honestly doubt the card will be any weaker than a 9700, and probably stronger. So even with those stats, its still fairly close to the other two systems. Its strong enough to easily play half life 2, or doom 3. If the graphics can "only" handle up to that much, I am fine with it. We dont need every game to be at par with the latest star wars movies, or what have you. Its more about the games, than the hardware.

Yeah, I think that's what nintendo was going for...that the games are what it is all about. Sure fancy graphics are nice but if thats all the game offers i won't play it.

Yeah, Nintendo is all about games that are fun to play, and as long as it can play games on par with hl2, then I'm very happy, and it shoukd be cheap, something that pulled the gameboy to victory!
