Hair, hair, everywhere...

I know it's shallow, and prolly bindun before, but I have 2 X chromosomes and a short haircut. I was wondering, on a purely superficial basis, are hetero blokes and lesbian ladies attracted more to women with long hair or short hair? In the interests of sexual equality, I will also pose the query to hetero ladies and gay blokes, are you attracted to long hair or short hair on a man?

What about bald heads?

And yes, I'm talking about hair on the head, not elsewhere.

Depends on how the whole package comes together. Some girls look better with one haircut, some with another. I'm somewhat partial to long hair though.

I personally like long hair on women, but if it's short I have absolutely no problem with it either (ok, maybe a tiny problem with bald women o_O).

Pretty much. Long hair suits some women and not others, but I prefer it on most women.

Short hair floats my boat, with guys and gals. It even makes up for blonde hair. ;)

I don't really have a preference. Long is nice, short is nice since it shows of your neck, I even thought Natalie portman looked good in the SW premiere or whatever, where she was almost bald. It's more how it all comes togheter.

A friend of mine has a shaven head due to a folicle disease and she is really hot nonetheless. It complements her big eyes and pale skin well.

I have a preference for longer hair myself... I'm annoyed at mine on a daily basis for being so damned short! I hate it, so I'm trying to grow it, but it'll take months. It doesn't help that is has all the constituency of fluff, mind. Grr.

I actually don't know any bald women/girls, so I really don't know.

Gimme head with hair
Long beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming,
Streaming, flaxen, waxen

Give me down to there hair
Shoulder length or longer
Here baby, there mama
Everywhere daddy daddy

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

Let it fly in the breeze
And get caught in the trees
Give a home to the fleas in my hair
A home for fleas
A hive for bees
A nest for birds
There ain't no words
For the beauty, the splendor, the wonder
Of my...

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

I want it long, straight, curly, fuzzy
Snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty
Oily, greasy, fleecy
Shining, gleaming, streaming
Flaxen, waxen
Knotted, polka-dotted
Twisted, beaded, braided
Powdered, flowered, and confettied
Bangled, tangled, spangled, and spaghettied!

Oh say can you see
My eyes if you can
Then my hair's too short

Down to here
Down to there
Down to where
It stops by itself

They'll be ga ga at the go go
When they see me in my toga
My toga made of blond
Brilliantined
Biblical hair

My hair like Jesus wore it
Hallelujah I adore it
Hallelujah Mary loved her son
Why don't my mother love me?

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

I tried to grow my hair long a few years ago, and it became an awful scraggly, endy mess. I can't understand how other women can devote so much care and attention to their hair to keep it nice and shiny and sleek. I like short hair on myself, 'cause I'm lazy.

And I like long because I'm lazy. I don't have to anything with it. Just wash and brush and voilá! It's ready.

Right now it's about 20 cm below my shoulders and I should cut about 10cm off -it's overgrown. I somewhat prefer long hair on men too. My boyfriend's hair is even longer than mine. (won't be for long...)

Everybody's hair is different. I grow mine out long and it's slightly wavy, thick as hell, and a great, mid-back length lion's mane. However, a friend of mine grows his out and it's straight, thin, and hangs on his head like an old sock.

'Tis not a matter of care, but a matter of nature.
