If you could work at any of these fast food places, where would it be? Why?

I take it "slitting my wrists because my life is worthless" would fall under "other" on your poll, right?

When a girlfriend didn't understand part of the principle of slacking was working as little as possible she got me a job at Round Table Pizza, and despite the staff there (who literally once said, "Hey, smart guy-say something smart." It was only a matter of time before I got "You sure gotta purty mouth"...) it didn't suck all that bad. But it sucked enough that I might consider driving off a cliff first...

Sad sidenote-I got desperate for a job two years back and applied to Taco Bell and didn't even get a call. I'm going to tell myself that it was because I as over qualified and they felt I wouldn't stay with the job. Yeah, thats it...

Delivering pizzas isn't a bad job, so any of those pizza places, especially one in a college town.

Actually, that probably IS the reason. And unless you were interested in a managerial position they wouldn't have taken your interest seriously.

I have yet to meet a pizza delivery guy who didn't also sell weed.

Not that I've done a scientific survey or anything...

That one may be at the other end of the spectrum for CToaN.

I may or may not have also sold weed while I delivered pizzas.

Thirty bones and hour? Let me see, I studied Film and Theater which pays...what was it again?....oh yeah, practically nothing. Hmmm. I seem to have made a wrong turn somewhere...

In 'N Out Burger! It's a chain that we only have in California, and possibly Nevada and Arizona. So much better than those slop hollows listed in the poll. :)

Absolutely. Either that or a guy in a D.A.R.E. shirt-almost always a dealer.

Delivering in a college town, 90% of my customers were stoned anyway when I brought them their pizza. It's a logical step to start selling.

haha, not a fantasy, an ideal. An Ideal every American can stand up to and say "praise the lord" to. *puts right hand over my just and gazes into the American flag deeply* God bless America...bitches!

I don't think you made a wrong turn really, you just haven't left the parking lot.

No way-even ignoring the bible passages hidden in all the packaging-I've never been in there when those guys weren't working thier asses off. Granted, I've heard that they pay more than other fast food places, but still...

I have to admit, though...tasty burgers. Are they really only out here? I thought they came from someplace else. They only in the last few years came to NorCal.

Other: NONE OF THE ABOVE

I had the extreme displeasure of working in a Wendy's. The Manager was a total dunce and I realized quickly that corporate kitchens suck the hind tits of a boars ass. I was always getting in crap for not "looking busy". That was because I know the meaning of the word effecient and wasn't a spaz like most of the people there. I just did my job without fuss or bother. Having worked in a fine restaurant that would plate 500 seats for political fundraising dinners, the "stress" of flipping burgers consisted entirely of putting up with my idiot boss and idiot co-workers. I got fired when I told the assistant manager she was ignorant as the back of my balls (and all they've seen is sh*t)

All in all, I'd rather lick dog turds off the pavement than spend a single second working in a fast food joint.

Well, I do work at a fast food place, which is not on the list.
I work at KFC. And I absolutely love it! don't get me wrong, the grease and gravy and salt and everything is bad, but working is really enjoyable with my managers and other staff because they are so nice and funny. I love it!

But, a question,

do any of you eat any of these restaurants foods?

If you do, you shouldn't be saying like "screw working at McDonalds, its crap" because beleive it or not someone has to serve you and has to cook and make the food. You should consider working there if you eat the food.

Also, I didn't really want to work at KFC when I applied but it turned out better than when I worked in retail. (discount department store)

I'd work at Wendy's! I liked Uncle Dave, the burgers are the best I've had in the States (so far, but I'm unlikely going back any time soon), and when I get a free lunch on top of it, great!

It's like fast food, but baked potatoes!! And it's the world's first carbon-neutal fast food chain (they plant trees to absorb the CO2 they emit with their business-ing)
