...Favorite Bush Quote...

Achtung 45

What is your favorite "bushism" or oral blunder made by Bush?
here's (http://www.dubyaspeak.com/) a site with a growing list of nearly 2800, if you need a reference. BTW, I have checked this site and it is 100% accurate, in fact it is more than accurate because the White House censors a lot of the stupid crap Bush accidentally says. If you still doubt the integrity of the site (many people do) be my guest to find the quote--or a censored version of the quote--on White House transcripts; they're there.

I can only listen to paraphrasing of what he is to have said. He's such a poor public speaker with that annoying intonation and monotonous "laughter," that I've never been able to listen to more than a few sentences of what he's said directly.

Although, I guess his constant mispronunciations could be considered quotes. Hmm, "nukular" is pretty annoying.

You know, I find myself saying "nucular" at times. I suppose it's a southern thing. I don't see how it's such a big deal since he's said much worse. Also, I think someone wrote a book about the slip. They argued that it might have on purpose, although I don't see how. (By the way, my favorite is, "Is our children learning?")

Depends on what your definition of "Worse" is.

If you think that persecuting gays and breaking the separation of church and state is worse, you think like me.

If you think "Flip-flopping" is worse, you think like a bush-supporter.

These sites are made to make fun of the President, and that's much easier to do when you don't show his good quotes, if he has any.

We asked ourselves, "Where the hell is Kerry going to get all of the money for the promises he's making?"
Here's a clue : Rolling back the tax cuts for the richest weren't going to cover it. Just because Kerry articulated his plans better dosen't mean we actually believed these plans were a good thing, or that if they were, they could be implemented along with his other promises.
