The Conservative "Pat Yourself On The Back" Thread
Hey conservatives, pat yourself on the back and talk about why you feel happy about things. Liberals, please restrain you anger for a short time.

It's simple. I'm right! Sooner or later, the screwed up world will realize it.

What big city are you near? I spent a year and a half in Japan at the Marine Corp Air Station in Iwakuni. Just SW of Hiroshima.

I'm on Honshu between Osaka and Nagoya. About thirty minutes from Nagoya. It is a pretty nice area, mild weather compared to most of Japan.

There is a Navy base at Yokosuka(sp) and another Naval Air Station at Atsugi. We used to hang out there, as well. That's near Tokyo, so I guess I've got you bracketed.
My daughter spent a year at the Osaka University for Foreign Studies in the study of Japanse. She had a pretty good time and learned quite a bit. It stuck me as odd that the Japanese college students have so many government and school holidays. I thought they were more committed to education.

In high school they do but they all pretty much consider college party time before the real hardwork of life begins. They don't take college seriously.
