My love letter

Here is a portion of a letter I wrote about someone whom I have affection for. Should I complete it and then send it?What do you think?

What is this cliche' from antiquity that man cherishes so dearly and lust for so viciously? What is that makes the bittersweet taste of the fruit of life so ambrosial? What meditation has brought about the genesis of innumerable artistic marvels? 'Tis love, so harmonious in all brilliance. Love has made my acquaintance, but this affair is forever brusque. Always leaving, making one feel inadequate for what seems as a millenia. Love can bring one into a realm of paradise, but this is a mask. In mere seconds this sensation vanishes from whence it came. My soul is made contemptuous and my thoughts obtuse in during every moments of love's absence. No, more must I be tortured so. My spirit is redeemed and my heart is callous no more. My dearest Ariadne, you have brought such happiness and I am in a state of ecstasy. Your mere presence is enough to sustain me and vanquish all the abominations that nature hath bestowed upon me, I am made anew.

Clean up the wording and grammar a bit and you'll have a classic on your hands. :)

As to whether to send it or not, only you can say. If it's someone with whom you are already in relationship, by all means send it. If it's someone you've admired from afar, I would wait until I got to know them better before deciding. It's a bit florid for someone you don't know very well. :)

Dont send it unless you are already deep with the person. Love letters never work until then.

Its beautiful. Save it untill you're sure it mutual so it won't freak the hell out of her.
And make sure she's the type to understand and appreciate all of your big words, it may not be well recieved if Ariadne is an engineer.

Meh, I've never resorted to using love letters myself. I just impress all the ladies with my Ultra Breakdancing Skills.

Still, It's not a bad letter. Give it a try!

Great start! Finish it and send it right away! Don't forget to enclose a photo of your naked nuts..... Especially if this person hardly knows you. They'll remember your letter forever. That's your goal, right?

Yeah, the letter's pretty darn good, just don't send it to someone you don't KNOW likes you.

I've always wished I could breakdance. Unfortunately, I find it hard even dancing the more formal types!

Going for the Shakespearian flavor, I see - pretty well emulated....

It's beatiful...but love letters shouldn't be that complicated, wordy, and flowery. Unless you're already in a relationship with this person, it would probably scare him/her off.

Pretty good. I hope it works for you. :)

Personally, I'm a cynic, so I don't go in for that romantic stuff, but maybe it works for some people. Good luck to you, I say.

It would work on someone from Tudor times. Its too......wordy. I read it, but whats to say someone with severe dyslexia or a bad education will understand it?

I say just send the person a picture with Leia from Star Wars in her metal bikini in Return of the Jedi. It would work on me. :D
