What college do you attend, have you attended, or plan to attend?

I attend University of North Carolina at Wilmington. As a freshman I attended Radford University in Virginia. Both are awesome schools, though a little on the party side, which is just not for me. Excellent professors and students though.

Didn't they rename that, so that people wouldn't snicker whenever they said it?

I grew up in Folsom. My house was a short walk to the river, on the other side you could see the prison.

I attended Sacramento State (CSU Sac) for two years but only paid for one. After a lot of crap I finally returned to college, getting an AA in music at Chabot College in Hayward then transfering to UC Santa Cruz getting a BA in Film & Digital Media with concentrations in production and screenwritting and (in a month) getting a graduate certificate in playwrighting. Not a marketable skill in the bunch...

A great school, IMO. Good facilities and equipment. The group sizes are small and the staff and students get along well. No tuition fees, either, so we get a lot of foreign students. Keeps my English in shape. ;)

I've got a friend at De Montfort, she really likes it there. I also know a couple of people at Cambridge, but they're not at that college, so that doesn't really matter lol. It's really nice down there though, if the Jesus College campus is anything to go off.

University of Connecticut, 1991-1995.

A nice campus in the middle of rural Connecticut, with about 20,000 of my closest friends. :)

Big enough to offer just about every major and activity under the sun, but (since it isn't in a city), with a cohesive identity and an ability to live in small circles if one wanted to.

I want to go to the massachusetts institute of technology, located across the river from Boston. It's not a reach school, it's my first choice. Really top of the line, less than 15% percent acceptance rate and average SAT of 1470 (had to write a paper for English abour which colleges I was looking at).

If I don't get in there, I'm looking at Stanford as a safety school.

Sheridan College (Oakvile, Ontario, Canada) 96/97 - Classic Animation

I cut out out of it after my first year after realising I had no deisre to be an animator (boring, very very boring)

From there I transferred to OCAD (Ontario College of Art & Design, Toronto, Canada) 97 to '01 - Fine Arts - They wouldn't let me do a double major in Sculpture/Installation and Media Arts, so I made my own major combining Sculpture/Installation and Sound Production with a nice amount Drawing and Painting to keep me grounded in the backbone of visual arts ("Draw, draw, draw, and draw some more." - advice from Lucien Freud dispensed to myself and some classmates while getting soused @ the unofficial college pub)

Its a sweet place, though its enrollment grew by 100% between my first year and last year there, making things a little tight. It now boasts the ugliest addition ever made to any college in the world, ever. I call it the Death Sandwich, because it looks like a huge Ice Cream Sandwich hovering deathstar like above the rest of the college.

haha...yeah, now that its summer break. Wait till it gets cold. CT has its share of cold winter nights. Nothing like lots of alcohol and a burning car to stay warm.

and how does a $40,000 snowball fight in Boston sound? (I really hope your first thought was "Overpriced", because that is mine)

this is from the website of an online club for BU students...its the "My school has a lazy river and yours doesn't" club (yes, my school actually did install a lazy river for hydrotherapy purposes)

"I don't know about you, but when I wrote my check for tuition this year, I thought, damn, I am so glad my tuition dollars are being put to good use. I mean, gee...how many other schools put your physical health on the top of their priority list? I know that this year, I'm totally supporting the increase in tuition because, damnit, I worked hard through high school and I earned this...a lazy river! And when you see me on Comm Ave, wearing my disgustingly expensive bikini, beach towel and toting my 6 foot long, forest green inflatable alligator raft, remember what a first rate institution you go to, hold your head high and tell the world, 'Grade deflation was worth it...my school has a lazy river, bitch!' "

Why didn't I just go to UCONN or Central? or any normal school for that matter? (Just kidding, I really do like BU...if only it wern't so damn expensive)

Hey cool! My best friend went there. Was an Art Major. :)

Yeah, it's a good school. Has a pretty good arts program. Especially for a state college. My wife did her graduate studies there, and post-grad at Virginia Tech... It also has a good medical college (MCV, Medical College of Virginia) as part of its campus spread about the Virginia capital.

Also JMU and UVA are good schools here.
