Okay, since some of you wanted better choices than the first one I did, here's the part 2 of the poll with more states.

I've always fancied New Mexico. Very pretty, and not too liberal nor too conservative.

No, I purposefully left it for part 3 tomorrow. It's too popular.

Ohhh, alright. I guess out of the states up there I'd have to choose Washington.

Seattle is wonderful. I visited it once. And they are close to Vancouver (sp?). I was in a shuttle bus there, and I met this nice Canadian lady. She said that if I ever found myself in Vancouver, I could stay with her. I'm gonna take her up on it one day. It might be hard, though, because I only have her name, but I have faith that I can locate her one day. Gotta love those Canadians!

the only state on this list that isnt of all that much interest to me is oklahoma but it at least has rodeo, cowboys and indians.

I don't like the weather in Wisconsin but every single person I have ever met from Wisconsin has been a nice, personable, and very funny. I really dig the hell out of those cats, great fuckin' people (so far as I've met-maybe thier assholes stay in the state, I don't know...). And the Onion and I believe MST3K both originate in ol' Wis...can't go wrong. If I had to pick, that'd have to be it.

Washington, its one of the more liberal of the bunch.

I like Oregon better though.

They banned hugging in public schools. I can't respect them for that reason. How dumb is that new rule?!

Exhibitionism! Kinky! Nah, I just want people not to be afraid of physical contact like I am. My school didn't allow hugging or holding hands. Virginia, ya know.

In Arizona its pretty much do anything as long as it doesn't get too horizontal.

I say PA, I live there and always have and though I might not always live here I love the difference it has, it has great urban suburban and rural life. Im talking Philadelphia, Gladwynne and the rest of LM (Gladwynne has the 3rd highest income in the US) and the rest of LM (except some of ardmore) is also rich and has some of the best towns imaginable. And once you get out into rural PA you dont know what you'll find whether its Omish, Quakers or those crazy evangelicalists theres got to be something for you here!

I love Pennsylvania too. I didn't vote for it, because I prefer the desert as I'd just love to camp out there for days and days. It's why I picked New Mexico.

But Penn has great amusement parks with Dorney Park, Hersheypark, and Kennywood, and Pittsburgh looks awesome.

Dawn of the Dead (1978) was filmed in Penn, as was the original Night of The Living Dead and Day of The Dead, partially. Gotta love that. A lot like NC.

*Whistles tune and sings*

"We don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan,
whole state of Michigan, whole state of Michigan!
We don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan -
We are from Ohio!

Round on the ends and high in the middle: O-HI-O!"

This tune I was taught by my hostparents who were from Ohio (now live in NC) and apparently don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan... ;)

New Mexico, so beautiful. I was there when I was 16. With my friends I walked across an open plain as a massive electrical storm moved overhead. Lightning was tounching down all around us, the sky was almost black. There was nowhere to go, no shelter to be had so we just kept walking. It was one of the best experiances of my life.
