I think that the Derby winner, Giacomo, has not the depth needed, and has to start from post position 13 - very bad positioning in this narrow track with such a short run to the first turn. Afleet has post 12 darn near as bad. I think the packed field is going to hurt all of them.

It's been a while since there has been a bad accident at any of the triple crow races, but their luck can't hold forever, and with such large fields that brings the odds ever smaller.

If I heard completely Afleet managed to not only not lose weight, but to actually gain a little. Which is good. It sounds like his lung infection is completely over - and the lungs on a race horse are supremely important - they are the fuel of a racer.

Its the call to the post...

I can't believe High Fly didnt show anything in the Preakness at least in the Derby he led for a little bit in the Preakness he didnt even make a move oof i can't believe i overrated him so much at least i know who gonna win the belmont which i will make my betting much easier. Afleet Alex will win the Belmont and that makes me feel better

Well no Tripple Crown winner this year, lets see who
will win the Belmont, I will bring you the Belmont Stakes
from The Republic of Derby Downs.

I played a $1 Trifecta box 2,9,11,12,13 $60.

I lost, I had 2 out of the 3 numbers, I did not think
Scrappy T would be in there, but he was, good for him.

I am probably one of the very few gamblers who
keep a running balance track of every $ they gamble and every $ they win, so I always no if I am up or down or up
for the year, I am up. I do this with horses, Jai-alai and
Lotto, I have a very big defecit spending on Lotto.

My nations are the republics of Derby Downs, Pilmico and
River Downs, Belmont is reserved for a former nation.

Thank you to all who participated or participate in this
this poll and thread.
