Does anyone else just randomly drink lots of milk? I've drunk two pint bottles today, and I only got up at three in the afternoon. Or is there anything else you just like eating/drinking?

I used to drink 1 quart of orange juice a day, and about a teaspoon of milk

Chocolate milk. There's never enough chocolate milk.

I've eaten entire bags of doritos, and I've inhaled entire boxes of cookies.

Milk? Yeah, I've done that, too. I can never quite get enough chocolate milk and hot cocoa.

There's something about milk that turns me off. Yes, I know it comes from cattle, yes I know it's used to nurse young but what exactly ISSSSSSSSS milk? What the hell is it?

Actually, I can't drink much milk...vegetarian, aspiring vegan.

But...I definitely drink a lot of orange juice and (oddly enough) eat large quantities of potato salad.

I've had a litre and a half just today. Our milk comes in 1 liter/dm3 cartons instead of bottles:

I often just take a carton of milk (10^-3 m^3 -> learn to use the SI) out of the fridge and empty it in one go.

What's wrong with saying "cubic decimeters"?

Well, the first thing you do with every problem is putting everything in SI so you don't have to be bothered with dimensions any longer every time you apply a known formula. This is however getting rather aburd now for every course that i have an american textbook for. In those books, converting everything usually IS solving the problem 8-)

Actually, the "deci, nano, yokto, mega, giga et al" are SI-prefixes.

Everything is a lot simpler when you replace the prefixes with a 10^x when you are applying a lot of formula's, or feel like computing it all in one go. the prefixes are mainly there to make the endresult 'imaginable'.

As the prefixes mean exactly the same thing as 10^x, but happen to be a lot easier to say, write and imagine, as you say, there is really no reason not to use them. Conversion to the base unit is only needed in calculations that most people just don't have to deal with...

Go vegan! Go vegan! Go vegan

The more you think about cows' milk, the more vile and unpleasent the thought of it becomes.

I ain't touched the stuff (or any other dairy products) in sixteen years.

I just have to add my dinner:
a carton of milk
a lump of cheese, chopped into small cubes and dipped in mustard
