Who do you think is the most lethal Star Trek villan?

Like most Star Trek fans, I believe that Khan is the most lethal, but unlike many I think Shinzon is the second most lethal due to the Schimitar.

You have the weirdest topics, you know that?

I would say, before goddamned Voyager, the Borg were the most lethal.

The Daleks should be. Oh well.

The Borg. They're also the most stylish.

I have to say though, that all would fall to the might of the peacekeeper command carriers. Especially if Scorpius was present. The sheer amount of style he exudes turns the tide of battles.

Nobody can beat Kirk. The Kirk/Spock/Bones combination is invincible. Kirk beat GOD, I don't see any other fictional character ever accomplishing something like that. :p

Scorpius IS pretty bad ass.

The Borg just feel like the classic enemy.

If Pootie Tang commanded a starship I think he could take on ANY enemy with ease. It would be the NCC-73552 USS Cappatown, a Sah Dah Tay class vessel.

True, but the peacekeepers would take them to tiny wee bits. Their structures look pathetic, being just big scaffolds, and it's difficult to modulate your shields to a frag cannon, since it seems to just fire big shells. And shells don't have frequencies. :D and if they boarded, I don't think slow moving zombies would stand a chance against the hyperpro peacekeeper warriors.

But, space zombie/vampires are certainly classic :D

*Wil Weaton/Wesley Crusher*
A remodulation of shield harmonics, with a tachyon pulse here or there and maybe a repolarisation of the deflector array always seems to take care of those.

Soran (?) Villan in ST:TNG: Generations.

after all, he succeeded in...
1) causing the deaths of several worlds and civilizations by causing suns to go Nova.

2) Killed Captain Kirk

3) helped destroy the Enterprise on her Maiden Movie Voyage.

4) and he did all of this only because he wanted to go back to his little fantasy world.

yeah but you forgot to subtract points for being in a sucky movie. that dooms him to be well behind the original klingons.

True. but the qestion is the most lethal Villian... if we include the movies, then you have to admit, Generations was still better than ST:V... the Final Frontier...

The Probe from Star Trek IV. Willing to wipe out all life on Earth in order to cleanse it for whale seeding. There's no knowing how many other worlds it has done this to.

I like whales too. But I like ME more. :p

I'm dating myself here... but The Doomsday Machine from Star Trek:TOS.

Also, these have to be two of the coolest/geekiest images EVARRR. :D

Those are size comparison charts for sharships from most, if not all major and minor sci-fi series and movies.

SPOILER: V-ger from Star Trek I is the biggest ship ever.

Those images were last updated in 2003. Blame them.

And I guess that at 98km in diameter, it would be bigger than V-ger.

They also forgot the Shadow Planet Killer from Babylon5, among other ships.

Er, 900 kilometers in diameter. The original DS was 160, it was scaled up considerable for the DSII.

Eh? That happens all the time. I'm sure I read that thing by Philip Pullman a year or two back, where someone kicks God's ass.

Kirk's major weakness was that he was played by William Shatner, who is an annoying cheesy cretin.

He wasn't really a villain though. He was more playful and silly than anything.

I would obviously say the Borg.

Ah.. I misread your post.

Also, the BIG mothership in ID4 was 550km in diameter. That plus the mini-motherships it carries could present a pretty good challenge against the DS2. :)

Zanak, the pirate planet that materialises around other planets and crushes them has got that beat easily. Never mind the fact that a bog standard lowly Type 40 TARDIS may well be infiitely large on the inside.

Quick look at the charts...

...oh, look - Doctor Who has been written out of the history of televisual science-fiction. So much for "sharships from most, if not all major and minor sci-fi series and movies".

I could go on.
