So, what... the Glovers are going to be in League 1 and the Forest are going down to League 2, or were they relegated from the championship?

The English Football Leagues are so bloody complicated, don't they go:

EPL
Championship
League 1 (actually Div 2)
League 2 (see above)
League 3 (see above)

I'm probably wrong, but if I'm not, then that is so backwards...

Well if you lose to someone like Yeovil next year you might just want to die... :p But League 1 ain't too bad, who knows you might actually win games! ;) :D

Unless we play like we did this year I don't think Forest will lose to Yeovil!

*Touch Wood*

Though just think 25 years ago, Forest were conquering Europe and Yeovil were just a non league team, now we are in the same division!

Well after getting rid of all the chaff you might be able to get some good players. You are a big enough club afterall.

West Bromwich Albion would like to thank Charlton for not losing, Man U for winning and Portsmouth for letting us win (Shh it'll be our little secret)

Well to your first point Forest were relegated to League 1 from the Championship, while Yeovil were promoted to League 1 from League.

While to your 2nd point the English League Structure goes like this:

English Premier League
The Championship
League 1
League 2

But before this season the structure was:

EPL
Division 1
Division 2
Division 3

And for the old hardcore supporters before the 1992-3 season the structure looked like this:

Division 1
Division 2
Division 3
Division 4

The above shows how football has been transformed by sponsorship. First came the Premier League break away where the top 22 teams decided to break away from the FA and form their own league in order to gain more money through sponsorship and TV rights, as well as having a bigger say on how English Football is run. (Note: The Premier League reduced its number from 22 to 20 in the 1995-1996 season). This lead to Division 1 being renamed the Premier League, Division 2 became Division 1 and so on.

Then last year as part of a rebranding strategy the FA decided to rename its remaining leagues in order to attract more sponsorship and better money for TV rights just like the top 22 clubs wanted 12 years before, as in general the clubs in the leagues below the Premiership are struggling financially due to many factors. The names decided on were The Championship, League One
and League Two

Hopefully these names will stick for long enough for people to get used to but I don't count on it! Soon it could look like this:

EPL
The Championship
The Other Championship
The Other Other Championship

Yea hopefully as there are some good players in the lower leagues, but we have to make sure we get players who really want to play for the club. You just have to look at Paul Evans ;) .

We're building a team right now not selling. We have a pretty good team too. We've got the two golden oldies in weatherall and windass, good youngsters in forrest, muirhead, emanuel, schumacher too, and decent players at their peak bower, bridge-wilkinson, cooke.

I think we could have a stab at the playoffs next season...see you there i hope! :D

Yeah, we bought him in 99 after we went up and he has been there ever since, he's taken a pay cut twice, been through two administrations and two relegations. That said because of this he is debateably our best player, most definitely most consistant and is one of the greats.
