its a standard round pie case filled with haggis and potato, it depends where you get it or where you get your fried haggis as to what is best.

For throwing or for eating?

I picked blueberry in the poll because it's an excellent throwing pie. Blueberries stain skin and most clothes quite nicely. :)

Most of the cream pies are very good for throwing too.

One of the most difficult but satisfying throwing pies is 'cow'. Cow pies are best thrown when fresh. Problem is, that's when they are hardest to throw. Once they have had some time to dry out, they become much easier to throw, and much less satisfying to do so. It's a catch-22. :(

Of course, the answer to that is to scrape together one great big fresh cow pie and throw someone at it. In fact, that would work very well with any other good throwing pies, except that it's not easy to find or bake a ten foot wide cream pie. Nevertheless, on the rare occasion that you have to throw someone(or yourself) into a gigantic pie, savor it. It's a real treat. :)

Why not cut out the middleman and throw a fresh cow at someone? That way, you get the look on their face when a cow comes flying towards them!

Because once the laughter wear off, you have a corpse under a cow to deal with. It's a hassle. :(

How could anybody forget the good old meat pie. It's a staple in Australia. Or at least it is to me. Great when watching footy too. :)
