Or, as I like to call it, ELECTRIC HITLER!

(I'm strapped for time here, So I'll make it short.)

Downfall is based on a book about Traudl Junge's experiences as Hitler's secretary during his final days. The perspective is not limited, however, to Traudl's immediate viewpoint, but rather the historically documented facts all throughout. Traudl's dramatic narrative ties in with her chummy relationship with Eva Braun--Evan Hitler berfore the end of the film.

Oliver Birschenbeerstein's tight direction doesn't go unnoticed. Not a second of film is wasted, the sparse, concise dialogue effectively carries the plot, and the superb actors round off the characters. There was a lot of work put into this film. Typical Germans, always working hard.

As per usual, Germans show off their war-kicking awesomeness in this film. Even the little kids kick ass. There's one little kid who's like twelve years old, and Hitler gives him a medal personally for taking out two tanks with a bazooka in Berlin. Wow, little German kids kick too much ass.

The only real problem with this film is it's crazy detail-It's almost overwhelming. Other than that, I give Downfall an 8.5 out of 10.

I really pretty much explained it all in the first few paragraphs. Ta da.
