I thought this would be interesting. Post any records here concerning NationStates or the General forum. For example, most puppets banned. It must be a proven record or at aleast close to one.

As far as I know, he's only had 6 incarnations, unless he had some before "Commando2". (I believe someone said that "Commando" was not him.)

But check out this guy:

Well, I don't think there are many who would care to claim that title away, and I did start the Ask a Necromancer thread (see my sig).

I'd like to clear a few things up to the best of my ability.

The highest post count, if you take into consideration the purges on the old forum, would either be Parratoga or North-Eastern Europe. Parratoga had 14,000 before she died from inactivity, and probably lost a good 6 or 7 thousand to spam purges, and NEE had around 18,000, but likely lost a fair bit less than Parratoga. Tink, with her two accounts and purge losses, probably nets somewhere in the 16k, 17k range. She'll likely pass those two for most combined posts, but not yet.

Most puppets, I would hazard a guess would either be Eireann Shamrock, or the infamous Michael Jackson. I doubt the moderators would be willing to release how many Michael Jackson puppets were dealt with in total, but he was such a menace on this forum that Max Barry had to shut off NationStates access for a good portion of New Zealand for a while as a result. Ask Monkeypimp about that one.

The other categories are more opinion than actual fact, but I wanted to speak about those two nominations.

the entire Paradise.net.nz ISP was blocked from the nationstates.net site. Luckily I always went directly to the forums rather than through my nation, so I had the address of the forums and could still get on. Later someone showed me an article on the New Zealand Heralds website (the main newspaper in Auckland) which I in turn showed to the forums about the incident.

I remember the article. Max played hardball with your ISP and won. And rightfully so.

As I understand, Max made them change the way they distribute IPs. And made them give up the Michael Jackson spammer's ID for (I think) law enforcement agencies. Technically, I believe it could occur again to any dial-up ISP. But I am not an expert on such matters, so don't take my word as gospel.

~Czardas, Supreme Ruler of the Universe

I have created 547 nations (one being my main nation, of course) to the date.
Most of them are still around, only three have been retired perminently - ok, I'm bringing them back to NS once one of these days.
Three nations have been given away as gifts so I actively control about 541 nations atm.
From those I still control maybe about a half of dozen have ceased to exist but they are coming back as soon as the mods see my report.

I've been planning to make a thread in Gameplay with a nation to find other puppet masters for a quite sometime but I haven't been into the hunt yet.
It'd be interesting to see if any old-timer puppet masters will turn up too. Qaaolchoura's visits are quite random, yet eagerly waited :)
Dog Lake/Crazy Kitty must have hundreds of nations too, to name a few of the larger puppet masters.
I know plenty of people who has or have had over 200 nations in the past.

Yes, being a big time puppet master takes alot of patience, time and making sure you have boring enough RL :p

Sure, every nation counts, that's why Qaaol had so many because he tested how to create different kinds of nations.

I vote myself for most prolific NS picture drawers with.... "several"* bearing my name. I also used to be in most peoples signatures, but I believe Tink now has that honour. I also believe that I am most unknown person on NS, easily pummelling CToaN into submission by the sheer strength of my non-entity.

*by several, I believe the accurate number is 72. In any case it's near 70, and with photobucket currently down I can't take an accurate check.

"Most posts made by a non-Earthling";
"Most posts made by Czardas";
"Most posts made by the Supreme Ruler of the Universe";
"Most times having had made a post with this exact text in it";
...and countless others.

If you don't mind me asking but why do you need to create 500 nations to explore all the regions? To make the project go faster? :confused:
