Hey, Whats the difference between a PC CD game, and a PC DVD game?

CD's only hold 750mb, whereas DvD's hold up to 6gb. DvD's also have much better sound.

Simply put, you can have bigger, better games on DvD's.

Pretty self explanitory one is a pc game that comes on CD's and the other is a pc game that comes in the DVD format

They phisicaly look very simmilar ... one holds more then the other

DVD's can hold up to 9.4 GB (if it is dual sided)

Cd's are at 740MB (roughly)

As long as you have the proper player for it, identical to CDs. I know The Sims2 came in both formats: the CDs were at least 2, the DVD was one disc with the entire game + extras on it.

Ok, because i was going to be ording a game called battlefield 2 that comes out in June and i wasnt sure which I should get.

Dude, if you've got a DvD drive on your PC, get the DvD version! ALWAYS!!

The sims 2 was on 4cds if i remember correctly.

You have to check your computer! If you don't have a DVD player in your computer, DVD games won't work.

The discs and players look almost exactly the same, so you have to actually check for the word "DVD" in your hardware profile on your computer to make sure.
